Kiefer's POV
We were still gathered in the investigation room at Adrian's house, the weight of the mysterious delivery still lingering. Ciel was at the computer, typing away, eyes focused as she navigated through stuff
I clenched my fists. "We need to know who did this. Someone's watching, and I don't like it."
Just then, Rory returned, slightly out of breath. "I've got something on the gang," he announced. Everyone turned to him.
"Rory?" david asked. "What did you find?"
"They're called The Iron Ravens," Rory said. "Extremely dangerous. They operate locally and overseas. Smuggling, extortion, black-market trades… they don't just threaten—they ruin lives. And yes, they're involved in loan scams. They give people loans, but when it's time to pay back, they triple or double the amount. No mercy if you can't pay."
David frowned. "So they're serious criminals. Not just some petty gang."
"Exactly," Rory said. "And there's more." He looked at me. "Kiefer… your father, and Adrian's uncle , both have ties to them. They're not small-time members; they're connected to some of the core operations. But it seems your father is trying to stay out of it while Adrian's uncle is still involved in the business side."
Adrian's grandfather's eyes widened. "Unbelievable… Victor Voss ? I can't believe he'd get involved with these notorious gangs… all for property and profit, no ethics at all."
I swallowed hard, feeling the weight of the revelation. "So it's personal… this isn't random at all."
At that moment, Endrix entered the room, carrying his laptop. "I've been tracing the digital trail. Whoever sent the box took extreme measures to remain anonymous. They're careful, calculated. I can see some patterns in their online activity, but they've covered their tracks very well."
Ciel added, "I was checking the front porch footage over and over. Whoever did this… they planned it."
Yuri leaned back, thoughtful. "So the Iron Ravens are dangerous, connected to powerful people, and now they're sending us warnings. This isn't just a game anymore."
David nodded, looking serious. "We need to plan. If they know we're onto them… they'll act fast."
Rory's expression darkened. "And there's another detail. The Iron Ravens don't want their roots traced. They call it a 'lone campaign.' They make sure no one can follow their tracks. That's why they deleted the CCTV footage and planned this drop carefully."
I stood up, determination burning in my chest. "Then we have to be smarter. We know their gang, we know the people involved, and now we know their methods. No mistakes. We strike smart, and we stay ahead."
Adrian's grandfather nodded, his face serious but approving. "Exactly. This gang may be dangerous, but we have advantages too. Knowledge. Observation. And You kids"—he gestured to Us —"you've got skills we can use. Now it's time to map their movements and see where they'll strike next."
The room went quiet, each of us feeling the tension. The Iron Ravens had just entered our world, and now it was clear: this was more than a threat. It was a challenge. And we weren't backing down.
