Chapter 80 - Chapter 79: Kana Is Reborn, Cleansed of Her Scars

Itsuki used the power of Wood Release to absorb Karin's chakra and suppress the rampaging Adamantine Sealing Chains.

Once they lost power, he carefully released her.

Supporting the weakened Karin, Itsuki checked her condition and then transferred some of his wood-style chakra into her body.

It didn't take long before Karin had recovered, but since it was rare to be held and cared for by Itsuki, she decided to keep her eyes closed and pretended she hadn't regained her strength.

She stayed nestled in his arms, refusing to get up.

"Karin! Karin, are you alright?"

Kana rushed into the yard in a panic once she saw that things had calmed down.

Itsuki noticed Karin's long eyelashes trembling—an obvious sign she was faking—and couldn't help but chuckle.

"Don't worry, Aunt Kana. Karin's fine!" Itsuki smiled, pinching Karin's nose lightly. "Come on, stop pretending. If you don't get up, I'll knock on your forehead."

Karin giggled, stuck out her tongue playfully, but still clung tightly to Itsuki's arm.

[Ding! Congratulations to group member Uzumaki Karin! The group level has been upgraded from LV0 to LV3. All attributes have increased by 300%!]

The system notification rang out, grabbing everyone's attention in the Fabrication System chat group.

Curious voices started flooding the chat, but Karin ignored them.

Instead, she started a live broadcast so everyone could watch for themselves.

"Karin, you nearly scared your mother to death!" Kana sighed in relief seeing her daughter unharmed.

Itsuki had only teased Karin, but Kana didn't hesitate to tap her daughter on the forehead and scold her harshly.

"You were too reckless. Don't force things beyond your ability—it'll only hurt you and others.

If Itsuki hadn't arrived in time, I might have died at your hands. What will you do next time?"

But Karin only made a face, rubbing her head against Itsuki's arm and grinning.

"It's fine! I knew Itsuki would come save us anyway. And wow… he smells so good, I could get addicted."

Kana's lips twitched. How could her daughter be so shameless? She glanced apologetically at Itsuki.

He only smiled, showing he didn't mind, but gently pushed Karin away.

"Alright, Karin. I only took a short break to come here. I have important business later."

He looked around at the wrecked yard.

Karin froze, embarrassed. "I—I really didn't mean it! We won't have to pay a huge amount for damages, right?"

The house and yard had been rented with Itsuki's money.

Since everything they had came from him, Karin knew she had no way to repay him if he demanded compensation.

"It's fine. I'll just fix it." Itsuki smiled and used Earth Style to fill in the torn ground, then followed with Wood Release to restore the destroyed corner of the house.

Karin gasped, throwing her arms open. "Amazing! Itsuki! You're the best! Hug time!"

Before she could latch onto him again, Kana grabbed her by the collar.

"Sit down and be quiet! Lord Itsuki came with great effort, don't trouble him! Forgive me, Lord Itsuki, I don't know how my daughter turned out this way."

Itsuki just chuckled.

He wasn't surprised—after all, in the original timeline Karin acted the same way toward Sasuke. This was just her nature surfacing earlier.

"Enough, Karin." Itsuki rubbed her head gently.

"Since your Adamantine Sealing Chains have awakened, now is the time to deepen your control.

If you want to stay by my side, you can't remain weak. But don't ever force yourself recklessly like just now."

"Okay, okay, I get it!" Karin replied in mock-aggrievement, walking to the side.

Yet inside, she was overjoyed. Itsuki had promised her something—and even patted her head!

Kana shook her head at her daughter's antics before bowing deeply to Itsuki.

"Thank you for everything, Lord Itsuki. But I wonder—what brings you here today?"

"We'll get to that later." Itsuki waved his hand, then said, "Aunt Kana, please extend your hands."

Kana blinked in surprise, but obeyed immediately. To her, Itsuki's words were absolute.

He clasped her hands gently, transferring wood-style chakra laced with life energy into her body.

Kana's eyes widened. "Lord Itsuki, what are you—"

"Don't speak. This is an experiment." His firm gaze silenced her as he continued sending chakra.

Warmth spread through Kana's body, like basking in sunlight under a spring blanket.

The exhaustion she had carried from Kusagakure began fading away.

Hidden injuries accumulated over years of hardship rapidly repaired themselves.

Even the jagged bite marks marring her arms slowly faded—until they vanished completely, leaving no scars.

"This… this is…" Kana trembled, tears filling her eyes.

Itsuki had used so much energy just to heal her. How could she ever deserve this?

"It really works." Itsuki smiled softly.

"Aunt Kana, I know what happened in Kusagakure left you with deep scars—both on your body and in your heart.

I can't change your past. But I can at least help erase the marks left behind, so you can embrace a new life free of that pain."

Kana broke down crying, hugging Itsuki tightly.

"Thank you… thank you!"

To her, Itsuki was not just a savior but the one who had given her rebirth.

Her loyalty to him soared to an absolute level. If Itsuki asked, she would gladly follow—even if it meant her death.

Not far away, Karin wiped her eyes with the back of her hand.

She had been silently watching—and the live broadcast relayed the entire emotional scene to the rest of the harem chat group.
