But before that, Rian spent 20,000 system points on a single ambitious project: the construction of a massive mansion deep within a remote mountain range.
Of course, it wasn't just any mansion—it was one equipped with an extensive underground facility resembling Umbrella's research base, though far more advanced and secure.
He named the facility: EDEN.
Eden was more than just a laboratory. Within its reinforced walls, Rian stored and studied several strains of viruses from the Resident Evil series, including:
First: The Progenitor Virus — possessing immense potential for biological evolution and serving as the foundation of all Umbrella viruses. When genetically compatible, it grants extraordinary strength and endurance.
Its flaw, however, is fatal: the majority of hosts who are genetically incompatible die almost instantly.
Second: The Prototype Virus — capable of producing superhuman beings akin to Albert Wesker, granting them exceptional power, speed, resilience, and rapid regeneration.
Its weakness lies in its inconsistency—not every recipient gains enhanced abilities, and success is never guaranteed.
Between 10% and 20% of subjects either die or show no change at all, requiring constant doses of serum to stabilize the infection—otherwise, the virus's effects fade over time.
Third: The T-Veronica Virus. This strain allows its host to retain consciousness and self-control while undergoing powerful biological evolution.
Its drawback, however, is lethality if not stabilized through cryogenic suspension or long-term organ transplantation.
Fourth: The T-Virus — the most infamous mutagenic strain responsible for creating zombies and Tyrants.
Its weakness lies in its numerous unstable variants, many of which cause severe neurological damage, stripping hosts of their consciousness.
Fifth: The G-Virus. A next-generation strain capable of extreme regenerative mutation and immense physical enhancement.
Its major flaw is uncontrollable mutation—if compatibility fails, the host's body rapidly degenerates, resulting in death or monstrous transformation.
Lastly: Las Plagas. A highly intelligent parasitic organism that grants its host increased strength, endurance, and regeneration, while allowing control over the host's mind.
Its weaknesses are vulnerability to intense light (especially UV), dependency on a dominant controller, and an extremely slow infection rate, as each victim must be implanted manually with a Plaga egg.
More than that, Eden was controlled by an advanced AI — a fusion of two legendary intelligences: Jarvis from the Marvel universe and Red Queen from Resident Evil.
The AI was named Alice Liddel.
Appearing as a holographic young girl with blonde hair and glowing red eyes, Alice spoke politely but with a tongue sharp enough to cut steel, analytical precision rivaling a military system, and unwavering loyalty toward Rian.
Rian's reason for converting a massive amount of System Points to build such an advanced facility and AI wasn't as complicated as people might assume.
To him, it was simple: because it was cool — and perfectly suited for a man as charming and magnificent as himself.
Of course, style wasn't the only reason. Behind that decision lay a far greater plan.
From the very beginning, Rian had chosen the Resident Evil timeline as his first primary base of operations.
It wasn't without reason — compared to his original world, the technology in this universe had advanced at an incredible pace due to the bio-organic wars and extreme military research conducted by corporations like Umbrella.
By exploiting that advantage, Rian could strengthen his foundation while harnessing cutting-edge technology that would have been impossible to obtain in his old world.

In the dark sky, as if every lantern had been extinguished, the moon shone brightly—its gentle light the only adornment left, like a solitary lantern hanging in the void.
Inside a dim yet spacious and luxurious room, its walls painted in pristine white, Ashley sat quietly before a mirror. She adjusted her makeup, occasionally gazing at her own reflection with a serene, unreadable expression.
The long white gown she wore exuded elegance and grace, soft yet refined in every fold.
Resting neatly on her lap was a black trench coat—clearly too large for her. Its size alone made it obvious that it didn't belong to the petite girl.
Moments later, a soft tapping echoed from the window. Ashley turned, a faint smile blooming on her lips. She clasped the trench coat in her right hand, then rose and hurried toward the window.
When she reached it, her gaze immediately met the figure she had been waiting for—the very reason she had dressed up tonight.
That man was none other than Rian.
Clad in his signature all-black attire, his long, dark hair framed him like a night without stars.
Behind his dark sunglasses, the faint glow of vivid blue eyes could almost be seen. Rian stood there, striking and magnetic—like the main character of some beautifully absurd romance.
In his right hand, he carried two boxes of martabak—the one on the bottom filled with special cheese, the one on top with savory egg. In his left hand, a bouquet of black roses stood out vividly, a striking contrast to his relaxed demeanor.
As soon as the window opened, Rian's smile appeared—warm, almost mischievous.
"Hey… sweetheart," he greeted casually. "How have you been? Miss this handsome man?"
Without waiting for an answer, Rian extended the bouquet of black roses toward Ashley, as if his arrival were simply the continuation of a promise left unfinished.
Ashley accepted the bouquet with a slightly puzzled look, and anyone could understand why. Black roses? Not exactly a conventional romantic choice.
But since it was Rian who gave them, she could only sigh softly inwardly, once again trying to comprehend the absurd logic that governed the man before her.
"Thank you…" Ashley murmured, bringing the bouquet closer to inhale its scent. "Wow… it actually smells nice."
"You're welcome," Rian replied with his usual easy smile. "And you look as lovely as ever."
Without missing a beat, he handed her the two boxes of martabak. "Oh, and—these are for your father. President Graham will love them."
Ashley froze for a moment, caught somewhere between admiration, amusement, and sheer mental exhaustion. Meanwhile, Rian casually took the black trench coat from her hands.
With a nearly theatrical flourish, he slipped it back on—like an actor stepping out of a movie scene.
Ashley could only stand there, momentarily dazed, before placing the bouquet and the martabak boxes on a nearby side table—moving slowly, as if arranging her thoughts along with the items.
After neatly setting down the two boxes and the black roses, she turned to Rian, one eyebrow raised.
"Oh, right… mind telling me why you came in through the window?" Ashley asked, genuine curiosity in her voice.
Rian answered with an easy, confident grin. "This handsome man just snuck into the White House… quietly, of course."
Ashley's expression shifted to pure shock. "Eh?! Are you serious?!"
Before she could say more, Rian suddenly stepped forward and scooped her up effortlessly in a princess carry.
"W–what are you doing, Rian…" Ashley stammered, her face flushing crimson. "Put me—"
Before she could finish, Rian smiled softly and cut her off. "Hold on tight."
"You might bite your tongue," Rian said softly but seriously—then added with a teasing smile, "And if you don't want to be kissed… please, don't open your mouth."
Ashley didn't even have time to process his words before Rian suddenly leapt out, carrying her away from the room. She froze, eyes wide—not out of fear, but sheer astonishment.
Rian moved with inhuman agility, soaring and sprinting across the air, effortlessly avoiding every security camera and elite guard around the White House as if they were nothing more than obstacles in a video game.
His speed was far beyond what it used to be—an obvious result of the precise attribute upgrades he had distributed earlier.
Even as he carried Ashley, part of his mind stayed focused on controlling his movements—regulating his breathing and steps, avoiding cameras and guards, using the precision of his Six Eyes.
Meanwhile, another part of him began to review his current status attributes.

With such an increase, Rian felt that defeating Saddler would now be far easier than before. If he had to estimate… his current physical capabilities might even rival those of Albert Wesker.
It wasn't without basis—Rian had gathered extensive information about the Resident Evil world, or more accurately… he had played through every game in the series ever released.
More importantly, with his Six Eyes, Rian was able to analyze and calculate Wesker's physical power during his fight against Chris Redfield in Resident Evil 5.
From what he observed… Rian was confident that such a level was no longer out of reach.
For reference, according to Rian's own estimation, Chris Redfield's physical attributes would be: STR: 10 | VIT: 8 | AGI 8
