Chapter 11 - Salazar Castle

Meanwhile, far from Leon's location, in an open area surrounded by surrounding steep cliffs, a gruesome scene unfolded.

Dozens of Ganado's bodies littered the ground, mutilated in unnatural positions. Some were still writhing weakly, but most were already lifeless.

Amidst the pools of blood and the stench of death, stood a gigantic figure with a troll-like body, rough skin and bulging muscles with a blown-off head.

The creature was known as El Gigante, one of Las Plaga's most brutal mutations of the human body.

But the attention wasn't just on the monster.

At El Gigante's side stood a young man with a striking appearance. A bloody chainsaw lay casually by his feet, with a gasoline dirigible lying on the other side.

Blood was still flowing from the Chainsaw blade, but the man was... looking in the mirror.

With a satisfied expression, Rian Andromeda observed his face through the small but shiny pocket mirror, correcting the position of his bangs and smile.

"Rian, although your good looks are tarnished by the massacre..." he said in a heavy tone, staring at his reflection in the small, blood-soaked mirror. "...you are still the best."

Rian closed his eyes for a moment, breathing slowly. In a more relaxed tone, he said to himself, "I already knew that."

Then, dramatically opening sharp eyelids, Rian continued confidently:

"This handsome man's face will never fade... and is always ready for whatever happens!"

There was a moment of silence, then in a heavy but satisfied voice, Rian said again to his reflection: "Oh... I like what you said. And, of course, this handsome man's face."

Suddenly, the walkie-talkie on Rian's left chest made a static sound accompanied by a call from another channel.

Rian stopped the mirroring action, then calmly slipped the small mirror back into his shirt pocket. He reached for the walkie-talkie and pressed the button.

"Yes. Handsome man here. Can I help you? Rian who is kind, not arrogant, and... of course, handsome, is always ready to help."

From the other side, Luis' voice was heard chuckling lightly. "After fighting Bitores Mendez, I'm glad you're still alive... and apparently, unchanged. Sounds like you're doing well."

"Of course," Rian replied without a hint of hesitation. "I'm a handsome man. How can I not be okay?"

Rian then added, "Ah... did you get the medicine for Ashley? And... what about Amber? Where are you located now?"

Luis chuckled again and answered Rian, "Woah, woah... Relax, amigo. One at a time, okay? The suppressant will be ready and I've got Amber. Although there was... an incident. As for the location, we're meeting on top of Salazar's castle."

"Okay, I understand," Rian replied briefly. "I'll be here soon."

The conversation ended. With his signature style, Rian took another step, while carrying the inactive Chainsaw in his right hand.

Rian's steps were light, yet full of confidence, as if the battlefield was just another stage for a handsome man like him.

Suddenly, Rian stopped his steps and mused, "But... which way to Salazar's castle, huh? Honestly, this handsome man... got lost earlier, and ended up in a massacre situation."

Rian moved the chainsaw to his left hand, then dramatically shook out his bangs, like a shampoo commercial star. "Haish... I forgot. The path of a handsome man is never straight, even the ground tries to lead me astray."

But despite the confusion, Rian's steps never wavered. With a calm style as if he knew his destination, he took another step.

Somehow, he would reach the meeting place. Because for Rian Andromeda... even obstacles know to step aside.

After a journey full of turns, Rian finally arrived at Salazar's castle. Unfortunately, he didn't know which part he was in.

The streets were narrow and dark, too dark for normal people to see clearly.

All around him, dull stone walls stretched. A few iron bars that had been eaten by time stood firm despite rusting, like silent witnesses to the horrors of the past.

In fact, on the way to this place, it was not uncommon for Rian to kill Ganado.

The total that Rian got was 2000 System Points and because he felt quite annoyed by the System Points notification notification, Rian disabled the feature.

Rian finally stopped walking. He moved the chainsaw in his right hand to the left. While his right hand then reached into his shirt pocket, pulling out a small mirror.

Rian looked at his own reflection there, then let out a long breath, even though it was only imaginary.

'Who the hell designed this place?' asked Rian in thought, 'Don't they realize how hard it is for this handsome man to explore?'

'This place is full of traps, winding roads, bad lighting...Ugh,' Rian complained dramatically. 'It's really a tough test for this handsome's face.'

Then, Rian closed his eyes dramatically, like he was filming an exclusive cologne commercial.

The corners of Rian's lips turned up in a faint smile. 'Never mind... no matter what... the tests of handsome men are endless."

After that, Rian returned his mirror to his pocket, then took off his dark glasses and hung them around his neck. Now, his eyes, bright blue like pure crystal, shone sharply in the darkness, as if lit up.

With the barrier of Six Eyes removed, information from his surroundings began to flood his mind. For a moment it felt like a tsunami of data, but he was used to it.

Although the pressure from the ability was still felt, Rian could now endure it longer without feeling excessive mental stress.

'Anyway...' Rian said in his mind, '...I've seen something typical of RE4. Traps, Monsters and... Los illuminados cult members with theatrical outfits."

Rian touched the recoil starter on the chainsaw in his left hand, with a faint smile still perched on his face.

'Ah... Don't forget one more thing,' Rian thought and added, 'A creature that always manages to frustrate players."

Without hesitation, Rian immediately pulled the recoil starter. The brutal roar of the chainsaw engine echoed, biting the silent air of the room like a death warning.

"GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!"

Suddenly, the wall on Rian's right side fell apart. Dust and stone chips flew in all directions.

From behind the rubble, a terrifying figure emerged: a large, muscular man with his eyes covered in stitches.

But what was most striking were two things: the long, deadly iron claws on his hands, and the iron torture helmet that held his head.

Garador.

A creature blind from stitches, but with an unusually keen sense of hearing, and an even keener sense of cruelty.

Instantly, Garador roars and lunges wildly. Its claws tore through the air, smashing into walls, floors, and anything it deemed a threat.

But Rian remained calm. With light and stylish movements, he tilted his body, dodging every deadly slash with incredible precision. As if dancing on a bloody stage.

"Too noisy..." Rian whispered as he moved behind Garador.

In one motion, Rian stabbed Garador in the back with the tip of the chainsaw. The sound was excruciating. Dark blood sprayed into the air.

"GRRRRAAAAAAHH!!!" Garador screamed, writhing in pain and anger.

Hearing his agonized screams, Rian showed no mercy. The chainsaw in his hand dug deeper into the poor creature's back.

The roar of the engine mixed with Garador's screams created a hellish harmony in the cramped room.

BRZZZZZZT!!!

Blood and splinters of flesh spurted wildly, soaking the stone floor, Rian's clothes, and even his handsome face, which was now stained red and gray.

But Rian remained calm. Didn't flinch. Because he knew that was Garador's weak spot: the parasite on his back.

Garador finally slumped. His legs fell to his knees, trembling, then his body fell forward, creating a heavy thud, hitting the ground.

Rian pulled back the chainsaw. The sound of the engine faded to silence. He took a mirror from the inside pocket of his shirt, and surveyed his face that was now splattered with blood and flesh.

"Oooh... Look at this, Rian." he said in a deep, heavy voice, full of praise for himself. "You now look like a psychopath in a horror fashion magazine shoot. But you're still amazing!"

Rian immediately changed his tone to light and narcissistic, while flashing a faint smile, "I know that. I am a very handsome man. Even my bloody face could be an advertisement for perfume... Eau de Chainsaw."

Chainsaw was placed gently on the floor. Rian wiped his face with his dirty sleeve. The glasses with very black lenses were put back on.

"But still... A face without haunted house makeup is the best," Rian muttered, staring at the mirror.

Rian took a dramatic breath, closed her eyes for a moment, then complained softly. "It's just... because I skipped skincare today, my face looks like it's peeling off. A big sin for a handsome man like me."

After that, Rian tucked the small mirror back into his shirt pocket with an elegant and stylish gesture, as if he had just finished a photo shoot.

Casually, Rian returned to carrying the chainsaw in his left hand, then began to stride towards the meeting location Luis had mentioned, atop Salazar's castle.
