Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Explosive Plot Development

"Including myself, the SPW Foundation's monitoring results show that this child," Kujo Jotaro said into the phone to someone, concluding, "has no issues."

After speaking, he hung up the phone and looked at Johnson Joffrey, who was lying in the hospital bed.

"You're truly an honest person. What you've said isn't called monitoring."

Kujo Jotaro made no attempt to hide anything. Towards Dio's son, Johnson Joffrey, his attitude was actually the most lenient.

After hearing about his battle with Tang En, Joseph Joestar, who had been silent for a long time, said, "Perhaps this child possesses the Golden Spirit."

As he said this, his face was aged, but his eyes were clear and incredibly firm.

"Your mother has also been found, but she was already killed by Tang En," Jotaro said. "From now on, the SPW Foundation will be responsible for your entire life, transferring a sum of money to you each month, and has contacted your sole guardian."

"Don't use your Stand casually anymore. Go and live the ordinary life you desire," Jotaro concluded, sitting beside the hospital bed.

"How I choose to live my life is my own business. The SPW Foundation has no right to monitor me," Johnson Joffrey said from his hospital bed, wrapped in bandages, his right arm in a sling. Although he was very young, his choice of words was always precise, sometimes even slightly sarcastic. His skin, unlike the healthy tan of a lifelong Californian, had an unhealthy pallor.

His red eyes were clear, and his golden hair was radiant.

"But you are still a child, and we need to contact your family," Jotaro said, calling Johnson Joffrey a child without malice, directly stating, "Just yesterday, you were admitted to the ICU and lost both of your parents."

"Should I feel sad? Do you want me, Dio's son, who has awakened a Stand, defeated a vampire, lost an arm, has seventeen bone fractures, and is chatting with you without batting an eye, to truly appear as a harmless child?"

Jotaro was silent for a moment, listening to Johnson's serious tone, and then he replied, "Then I would be even more suspicious of you."

"There are many people in this world with Stands, and some of them are not good people."

"Also, I have one more important matter," Jotaro said, his gaze burning, as he pulled out a thick notebook from his satchel.

------ It was a notebook that Johnson was explosively familiar with. In fact, Johnson was already about to explode.

"That's my notebook," Johnson said honestly. Since the other party had already taken it out, there was nothing to hide.

"I found this in the ruins of your villa."

Johnson's expression remained unchanged; he knew exactly what was written inside.

"It says… Kujo Jotaro… died on March 21, 2012."

A cold sweat slightly dampened Johnson's back as he controlled his breathing.

He had written that notebook to calculate the broadcast times of each story arc and to record plot details he feared forgetting later. These things were what he called "the future."

When Kujo Jotaro mentioned his own death date, there was no fear in his expression. Instead, he opened his blue crystal-like eyes and asked Johnson.

Johnson regulated his breathing. From his outward appearance, his face remained impassive.

Don't panic! Johnson Joffrey told himself. The fact that I dared to write these things proves I was prepared long ago; I just didn't expect it to be discovered so soon.

But how did he find it?? I mimicked the method Light Yagami used to hide his Death Note (see sticky for those who don't know) and put it in a drawer's secret compartment. If forced open, the notebook would burn up.

I tested it several times; the mechanism was fine. How did Kujo Jotaro find it??

Compared to Kujo Jotaro discovering the notebook that recorded the future, he was more incredulous about how it was found.

"It records my death date and some experiences that never happened, as well as… things certain people are looking for, like this line… Kira Yoshikage is Hayato's father?"

"What does that mean?" Jotaro finally spoke, no longer in a nonchalant tone. He placed the notebook on the hospital bed. "Give me a reasonable explanation."

Johnson Joffrey took a deep breath and used the pre-prepared statement A (he had statements C, D, and E ready for different situations): "As you can see, this is my Stand Ability."

Jotaro: "!"

Jotaro rarely showed such surprise.

"I can more or less see the future of certain Stand Users."

Jotaro raised an eyebrow. "So you've seen my future?"

"Yes, although I hadn't awakened my Stand before, the ability to foresee things appeared early." This is possible, for example, Giorno had the ability to make plants grow even before his Stand awakened.

Jotaro was silent for a moment, then Johnson continued, "This should be the future. I don't understand it either, but it must be useful."

"As for Kira Yoshikage being Hayato's father, I'm not sure what that means," Johnson said. "I only know that this is the future."

Jotaro's gaze was like an eagle's. He asked several more questions about the predictions, but fortunately, most were within Johnson Joffrey's expectations.

Perhaps when Jotaro got the notebook, he suspected it might be a Stand Ability, so he was predisposed to accept Johnson's answer. After all, how would a serious, reliable adult believe he was a character in a manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump?

Jotaro was silent for a moment, then walked to the curtain and looked at the clear sky with his sea-blue eyes.

Johnson breathed a sigh of relief. Aside from explaining it as a Stand Ability, nothing else would work. In his eyes now, Johnson was just a child with an incredible ability.

Wait! Johnson suddenly thought of something important, as if struck by lightning.

Part of what I wrote was in English, precisely so others, meaning Kujo Jotaro, would see it and assume I had the ability to foresee the future, allowing others to… But why didn't Jotaro ask me about the other part written in code??

Johnson reached out and picked up the notebook, and an explosive thought appeared in his mind…

"—The part I wrote in code was torn out!!

Who was it?? Was it Jotaro?? It shouldn't be, he had no reason to. If it were him, he would have just asked me directly. Asked me what those numbers were? And I had already prepared an answer.

Who was it exactly?! Who got this notebook first? Jotaro wasn't the first person to get my notebook. The first person to get my notebook must have seen through the mechanism of the secret compartment in my drawer, broken the mechanism, taken out the notebook, read its contents, and then, finding they couldn't decipher the code, tore it out and took it. The torn notebook was then picked up by Jotaro.

Damn! What kind of explosive plot development is this??

When I wrote this, I never expected such a situation!!

Who! Was! It!

The part I didn't write in code was in English, mostly about Kujo Jotaro. This was mainly to make anyone who saw it think I had precognitive abilities, to better use the plot to lead and control others. The part I wrote in code contained all my analysis of the plot, including the system and transmigration, as well as some misleading knowledge beneficial to me... This person first saw the part I didn't write in code, then realized the importance of this notebook, and so took it... So who would be interested in Jotaro's affairs?

Calm down! Johnson told himself. After wiping away some sweat, he realized his hands were shaking uncontrollably. Someone else knows the future plot development just like me... This really blew up.

"Honestly, I'm not sure if these things are true, but you can…"

"Get some good rest," Jotaro interrupted, summarizing. Then he stood up and said, "If you have any more predictions about me, please contact me immediately."

His white duster was very stylish, giving him an aura of walking with the wind.

"Wait a moment, Mr. Jotaro." Hearing Johnson's words, Jotaro paused.

"I wanted to ask, who is the only guardian you found for me?"

"A relative of yours from Italy."
