Inside Suzy Q's office, Nathan Hawke and Electro sat on the couch. Across from them, Suzy Q still radiated her signature allure—but her eyes now carried a hint of respect and wariness.
"The Militech building downtown is heavily guarded," Suzy said calmly. "It's equipped with advanced security systems—electronic locks, full surveillance coverage, AI defense drones, and even patrols from the MaxTac unit."
"MaxTac?" Electro asked curiously.
"Yes," Suzy nodded. "They're the NCPD's elite counter-cyberpsycho unit. They only deploy for serious incidents—trained to eliminate cyberpsychos. They're heavily armed and use top-tier tech. They're the scariest people in the whole force."
"So how do we get inside the Militech building?" Nathan asked.
"To get in," Suzy said with a smile, "you'll need to avoid the MaxTac patrols. Their routes are fixed—if you move carefully, you should be able to slip through."
"Any other security measures?" Electro asked.
"Of course," she replied. "The building has a complex electronic surveillance network—you'll need to hack it. And there are guards on patrol inside. Be cautious."
Nathan thought for a moment. "Do you have a floor plan or any detailed schematics of the Militech building?"
Suzy studied him for a second, then smiled and pulled out a data chip, handing it over. "This is what my people managed to gather. It's not complete, but it should help."
Nathan accepted the chip and nodded gratefully.
"But be careful," Suzy warned, her tone suddenly serious. "That building isn't to be taken lightly. You'll need allies—or special equipment."
"Thanks for the warning," Nathan said. "We'll be cautious."
Suzy smiled faintly. "Good. Since you've got what you came for, I'd like to ask you for a favor in return."
"What kind of favor?" Electro asked.
"The Mox gang has been having trouble lately," Suzy explained. "Some cyberpsychos have been causing chaos in our territory. If you help us deal with them, I'll give you more intel."
Nathan and Electro exchanged a glance and nodded.
"Then we're allies," Suzy said with satisfaction.
Nathan and Electro stayed silent for a moment, then nodded again—agreeing to help her deal with the cyberpsycho threat.
"Thank you," Suzy said warmly. "I'll have someone provide you with the details."
Nathan and Electro weren't particularly interested in the Mox gang itself—they just wanted the Militech data. But in a city as dangerous and unpredictable as this, allies were always more valuable than enemies.
Suzy turned and gave instructions to one of her girls. Soon, a young Mox member entered carrying a tray filled with food and drinks.
"Please, enjoy," Suzy invited politely.
Nathan and Electro didn't refuse. Even though they didn't need food to survive, the experience of tasting something new was pleasant enough.
"So, about the Militech building…" Nathan prompted.
Suzy paused, then began explaining the structure and its internal layout in detail. She outlined the building's security systems and highlighted possible weak points on the schematic.
"There's an old aircraft hangar on one side," she said, pointing at the map. "Security there is thinner. It could serve as your entry point—but be careful, some recon drones still patrol the area."
"We'll watch for them," Electro said.
"And inside," Suzy added, "you'll find multiple electronic locks. You'll need a skilled netrunner to bypass them—but keep in mind, they might be linked to the main server. Hacking them could trigger alarms."
Nathan smiled faintly. "We'll handle it."
"Oh, and one more thing," Suzy said with a mysterious look. "On the top floor, there's a high-level conference room. It stores sensitive information and cutting-edge tech. The security there is… extreme. Ordinary people can't get close."
"We're not ordinary," Electro said confidently.
Suzy gazed at the two men, now convinced they had the power to pull it off.
"Just keep in mind," she said, sighing softly, "my intel's a year old. Someone like me doesn't get updated on current Militech security."
"That's fine," Nathan said understandingly.
"Good. You have the info now," Suzy said. "I'll send someone to guide you to the cyberpsycho hideout."
Nathan and Electro left Suzy Q's office. Two Mox members accompanied them, leading the pair deeper into the gang's territory to locate the rogue cyberpsychos.
After they left, Suzy turned to the girl who had first greeted Nathan.
"Keep an eye on their progress," Suzy ordered. "I want to know if they can actually handle those cyberpsychos. If they fail, arrange a meeting with Dexter DeShawn. But if they succeed… pretend this never happened."
"Yes, ma'am."
Later that night, the alleys of Kabukicho were thick with smoke and the stench of alcohol. Several Mox women in revealing outfits flirted with Nathan and Electro, trying to catch their attention.
"We should focus on finding the cyberpsychos first," Nathan said calmly.
Electro nodded. They ignored the distractions and pressed deeper into the alleys in search of clues.
Eventually, their Mox guides led them to a derelict building. From inside came faint noises and flickering lights.
"Boss, this is it," one of the Mox members whispered. "They're inside."
"Got it," Nathan said as Electro stepped forward.
Inside, a group of cyberpsychos immediately spotted them and screamed, charging in a frenzy. Their bodies were covered in grotesque implants—metal arms, spring-loaded legs, flamethrowers, blades—each one more dangerous than the last.
"What a bunch of idiots," Electro sneered. His hands crackled with lightning as energy wrapped around his body.
One cyberpsycho lunged with a blade, but Electro dodged, reappearing behind him. A burst of electricity hit the man square in the chest, dropping him instantly.
The others roared and surrounded him. One activated a gravity implant in his legs, trying to crush Electro to the ground—but Electro's body blurred, propelled by electric thrust. He countered with a glowing punch that shattered the man's cybernetic skull.
Another cyberpsycho with spring-like leg implants launched forward at lightning speed. Electro waited for the right moment—then struck his chest with an electrified fist, sending him crashing into a wall.
Moving with deadly precision, Electro weaved through the attackers. Each surge of electricity brought another enemy down.
Some fired thermal weapons, but their shots couldn't touch him. He dodged effortlessly, his counterattacks swift and lethal.
The battle raged on. Electro was like living lightning—his strikes tore through the air, cutting down cyberpsychos one after another.
"He's fully cyber-enhanced—must be a full-body Sandevistan mod!" one of the psychos shouted in panic.
But it was too late.
Minutes later, silence fell. The air smelled of ozone and burnt metal. The building was filled with smoke and wreckage.
Electro stood amidst the debris, his body still faintly glowing with electricity. His expression was cold, detached.
"Mission complete," he said quietly.
Nathan stepped inside, surveying the devastation with a faint smile. "Nice work."
The two Mox members who had followed them in stood frozen, eyes wide in disbelief at the destruction before them.
In their minds, only two words surfaced—
