"Ganyu, about the establishment of the Airship Manufacturing Bureau—"

"Huh? Where's Ganyu?"

Not long after Jiang Yan and Ganyu left, Guizhong hurried in with a stack of documents in her arms.

When she saw Ganyu's empty seat, she froze for a moment and asked the secretaries of the General Affairs Department.

Clearly, having been buried in work, she hadn't received the news that Jiang Yan had returned.

"Lord Tianquan came back a moment ago and went out with Lady Ganyu. He also requested leave for her."

"Oh, Tianquan—"

Guizhong suddenly stopped mid-sentence and stared at the secretary in shock.

"Who did you say? Tianquan? Wood-Spirit Immortal Lord??"

The secretaries exchanged glances and nodded.

"Yes. Lady Guizhong, didn't you know?"

"Jiang—that brat—is really back?!"

Guizhong slammed the documents down and turned, striding out at once.

Inside a small house near the coast of Liyue Harbor.

It was Jiang Yan and Ganyu's warm little home.

Neither of them cared for extravagance, so the house was a simple two-story building in classic Liyue style.

Step outside, and you could see the azure coastline—truly a beautiful view.

Inside the house, Jiang Yan held Ganyu in his arms, while Ganyu leaned against his chest, quietly listening as he recounted what had happened during his visit to the Seven Nations.

Jiang Yan spoke of strange sights and stories from each land—the twin Electro Archons of Inazuma, Sumeru's World Tree, war-loving Natlan, the criminals struggling in Fontaine's Court of Justice, the gentle Cryo Archon of Snezhnaya, and Barbatos, who never seemed to do any real work.

Ganyu listened intently.

But when she heard about the twin Electro Archons and the Cryo Archon, she looked at Jiang Yan with a strange expression.

She was acutely aware of just how popular Jiang Yan was among the Six Nations.

At times, even while handling official affairs, she would see requests from Inazuma and Sumeru asking when Liyue's Tianquan would return to guide their state governance again.

Especially given that their rulers were women, Ganyu found it hard not to imagine what Jiang Yan had been doing in their lands.

She bit her lip, her gaze turning firm, and suddenly pushed Jiang Yan down.

"Eh?!"

Jiang Yan stared at the Ganyu who had suddenly pinned him down.

"What's wrong? Why so sudden?"

He looked at her in confusion, seeing her breathing slightly heavily.

"I want to have more weight in your heart."

As soon as she finished speaking, Ganyu fiercely kissed Jiang Yan.

Hearing her words, Jiang Yan's eyes widened.

Then he seemed to realize something. Smiling, he wrapped an arm around Ganyu's slender waist, flipped their positions in one smooth motion, and pressed her beneath him.

"Ganyu, in my heart, you have always been the first—and the most important—no one else can compare…"

With that, Jiang Yan gently brushed aside her hair, looked into her joyful eyes, and leaned down.

What followed hardly needed to be described…

(One million words omitted here.)

After the storm passed, Ganyu lay against Jiang Yan's chest, her cheeks flushed.

Jiang Yan gently stroked her back. After a long while, Ganyu lifted her head.

"What you said just now… was it true?"

Her eyes sparkled as she waited for his answer.

Jiang Yan nodded seriously, leaned down to kiss her forehead, and said with a smile,

"That move you pulled earlier even caught me off guard."

"So our little Ganyu has such a strong possessive streak…"

Ganyu shyly hid her face in Jiang Yan's chest.

After a long silence, she suddenly spoke in a muffled voice:

"A-Yan… if you ever had other women, would you start to dislike me…?"

Before she could finish, Jiang Yan lifted her chin and kissed her again.

"Naughty. Did everything I just said go in one ear and out the other?"

"You will always be number one. In my heart, no one can ever surpass you."

As he gently stroked her hair, Jiang Yan's eyes were filled with tenderness.

Even after more than three hundred years, his feelings for Ganyu had never changed.

"With just those words… it's enough," Ganyu murmured softly.

"Even though I want to have you all to myself, I know… I'm destined not to be able to bind you."

"Go do whatever you want. Don't let me become your shackles."

She spoke softly, resting her head against Jiang Yan's chest and nuzzling him gently.

Jiang Yan didn't refute her. He simply continued stroking her hair.

The two of them held each other for a very long time, until night fell and darkness filled the room.

Not long after, accompanied by a soft cry, strange sounds once again echoed through the room.

...

The next day, a ray of sunlight slipped in through the window, illuminating the dim room.

Jiang Yan slowly opened his eyes.

Cradled in his arms was a delicate, lovely figure, sleeping soundly, exhaustion still lingering on her flushed face.

After all the tossing about the previous day, he must have worn Ganyu out.

Jiang Yan quietly watched her, a smile in his eyes.

Then, the Rooster Talisman lit up in his mind.

In the kitchen, pots and pans began cooking on their own under telekinetic control.

With cosmic perception, Jiang Yan had no worry about burning anything.

He didn't want to disturb Ganyu's sweet sleep, nor did he want her to wake up hungry.

After finishing the dishes, the food floated automatically to the dining table outside. Then, vector manipulation sealed in the heat, keeping everything at just-cooked temperature.

Once done, Jiang Yan lowered his head and buried himself once more in warmth and softness, closing his eyes and breathing in the fragrant scent of the person beside him.

How wonderful…

Because Jiang Yan had taken Ganyu away in full view of everyone, and because Morax had appeared with the Millelith and the General Affairs staff,

All the adepti and gods now knew that Jiang Yan had returned.

"That kid really is something—comes back and doesn't even come see everyone!"

Guizhong puffed out her cheeks, clearly displeased.

Cloud Retainer smiled faintly, sitting beside her and sipping tea.

"The young couple is still in the honeymoon phase. Where would they find the time?"

Streetward Rambler walked in, laughing as he spoke.

"That's true."

Guizhong nodded, and didn't say anything more.
