In the dead of night, when the world is silent and the moon hides behind the clouds, a handsome ghost with abs named Anthony appears. He lurks in the shadows, quietly circling around you. You might be wondering, why is he hiding? Well, because he's actually terrified of you. Yeah, you heard that right. He says you look like… never mind, I'd rather not say.
Anyway, let me fix this blog before you lose interest and stop reading. Oh, and would you look at that, Christmas is really coming. Time really flies. I just wish I knew how many years have passed since the day I died.

I was hanging out alone in my favorite old abandoned classroom, the one I always go to whenever I want some peace and quiet. Honestly, I don't even know what's so special about this place or why I chose it as my hideout in the first place. It's dark, messy, and filled with scattered old stuff. And sometimes, I just don't go inside because I hear moaning sounds from I don't know who, maybe they're just fellow ghosts.
From what I've heard, ghosts are supposed to hang out in creepy, deserted places, just like in horror movies. But seriously, why is that? Can't we haunt crowded spots too, like bars or concerts? That sounds way more fun if you ask me.
I found myself staring out the window, a faint smile tugging at my lips. My thoughts drifted back to Misaki again. To be honest, she's never really left my mind. She's always there, somewhere in my heart. I've spent quite a lot of time with her lately, even though she's not much of a talker.
I froze when a strong, cold gust of wind swept through the room, making the dusty white curtains ripple like waves. Oh no, not again. My whole body stiffened as I heard the door behind me creak open. Slowly, I turned around, but there was no one there. Only the door, inching open on its own.
It was strange, no one was there, yet I could feel a presence pushing the door open.
"Oh, shit!" I yelled as the sound effect hit, just like in horror movies, and it made me jump out of pure shock. I'll admit it, even back when I used to watch horror films, it was always the sound effects that scared me the most. Sometimes, even with my eyes wide open in front of the TV, I'd rather cover my ears instead. I'd rather feel scared than be startled out of nowhere. Geez, horror movies really know how to mess with you.
In the blink of an eye, a head suddenly popped out from behind the door. It was Serenity, the little girl I think has a crush on me. I mean, that's just what I feel, okay? But come on, can you blame me for assuming? I'm pretty handsome, after all. She's always staring at me, watching my every move. And sometimes, she just shows up out of nowhere, like right now.
It's like she's keeping an eye on me all the time. And not just that, she always hands me wilted flowers. Sometimes, I can't help but wonder if she's getting them straight from the cemetery. I mean, where else would she find flowers that dead-looking? But there's one thing I've noticed about her, she seems scared to come near me whenever I'm with my ghost buddies.
Honestly, this kid is weird. But what she's doing right now is on a whole new level of creepy. Half of her face was peeking through the door, and one of her eyes was staring straight at me. Her pale fingers gripped the edge of the door like something out of a horror flick. I mean, who wouldn't be freaked out by that, especially with the sound effects kicking in?
"Oh, it's just you. Come here," I said, waving at her to come closer. She immediately turned her whole body toward me and started taking small, careful steps in my direction.
Behind her, the door slowly began to close again. I'm guessing she's around seven years old, still wearing her Glorious Legendary University grade school uniform.
It was hard not to notice the dried blood on her uniform, and that deep cut across her neck. There's no doubt the blood came from there, and it's probably the very reason she died.
I couldn't help but wonder what really happened to her before she passed away. Who could be so heartless to do this to her? A wave of pity washed over me. Poor kid. Even after all this time, her soul is still stuck in this world, unable to find peace.
She was just one small step away from being within my reach when the door suddenly slammed open, and my ghost buddies burst into the room. Miraculously, they were actually approaching me for once. Lately, they'd been acting like I didn't even exist.
"Knew we'd find you here," Carl said. Right then, the little girl darted behind me, hiding as she stared at my friends in pure terror. I could feel her trembling, her tiny hands gripping my pants tightly, and her shaky breaths brushing against my back.
"For you," Ayan said with a faint smile. I frowned when Joseph and Carl pushed something forward.
"A bike?" I muttered, my brow furrowed in confusion.
"Yeah. We fixed it up for you," Carl said, grinning.
"What am I supposed to do with that?" I asked, eyeing the thing suspiciously. Honestly, it looked more cursed than repaired. Even if they claimed they fixed it, parts of it were still busted, and to make things worse, it had dried blood stains all over it. Whoever owned this bike clearly met a tragic end, and these idiots probably stole it afterward. At this rate, the owner's ghost might pop up any second looking for revenge. Seriously, where did they even find this thing?
They rolled the bike closer to me, and that's when Joseph noticed Serenity.
"Hi, baby girl!" he called out, grinning. In an instant, Serenity's grip on my pants tightened so hard I thought they were about to fall off. Sorry, I don't wear a belt, probably forgot to put one on before I died. Guess I wasn't the brightest bulb when I was alive. I saw Serenity's lips tremble, her mouth starting to open, and then she suddenly burst into loud sobs.
"I didn't mean it! I didn't see anything!" the girl cried, tears streaming down her face. Every time we had our little sharing session about how we died, it was always the same whenever it was her turn. She'd start crying and repeat those exact words, just like now. That's why the cause of her death remains a mystery to all of us.
"Hey, you scared the kid!" Carl scolded Joseph.
"I did not! I just said hi!" Joseph protested.
"She got scared of your face, dude," Ayan joked.
"Wow, real funny. My face looks way better than hers, for the record," Joseph snapped, clearly annoyed.
Darn, this jerk really has no limits, he even picks on a kid. Serenity cried even harder when Ayan stepped closer and knelt down to match her height, but instead of calming down, she hid behind my other leg, trembling in fear.
"I'm sorry, Serenity. You got dragged into all of this because of me," Ayan said seriously. His tone was calm, but heavy, and just like that, Serenity stopped crying. All that was left was the sound of her quiet sniffles.
I frowned, confused by what Ayan meant by that. He stood up, patted my shoulder, then turned around and walked out of the room. None of us said a word as we silently watched him leave.

Sorry it took me this long to write this blog. I've been busy going on dates with Misaki, trying to flirt my way into her heart. Guess I've turned into a desperate ghost now. To you, the one reading this, I know you're probably trying to guess what really happened in my story. You're such a weird guesser, but hey, thanks for sticking around anyway.
I'll keep you company every night while you're sleeping alone in your room. Promise, no sound effects this time. Are you also the type who gets jump-scared by sound effects when watching horror movies? Leave a comment if you don't want me haunting you.
Certified Hottie,
—Anthony
