From the pitch-black mine, a Pokémon slowly walked out. It was golden-yellow, with sharp fangs, an X-shaped whisker on its face, and a rain cloud on its back.

Hearing Ye Jianguo's prompting, Kenji snapped out of it and turned to look at Beedrill behind him.
Man and bee exchanged no words; the fighting spirit burning in Beedrill's eyes said everything.
"SWOOOSH!!!—"
White light instantly coated the wings on Beedrill's back. It transformed into an afterimage, charging toward Raikou.
"ROOOAR!!!—"
Raikou roared, its expression growing even more furious. Another pillar of lightning struck down from the cloud above.
But this time, the target wasn't Kenji, Ye Jianguo, or Beedrill. It was Raikou itself.
"BOOM!!!—"
The lightning struck down, splitting into numerous snakes of electricity in mid-air. They wove together above Raikou, forming a protective net of yellow lightning that encased the Legendary Beast.
"BOOM!!!!—"
Beedrill's stinger struck the lightning net. An explosion rang out, and Beedrill was forced backward. The lightning net, however, didn't even tremble.
Kenji frowned slightly. Beedrill's attacks, usually unstoppable, had rarely failed to make an impact.
"ROAR!!—"
Raikou roared again. Several bolts of lightning shot toward Beedrill, falling from the sky like a massive meteor shower.
"BANG! BANG! BANG!!!—"
Beedrill wove through the lightning bolts, maintaining Overdrive Mode to dodge Raikou's attacks while simultaneously executing Swords Dance to boost itself.
As Beedrill performed Swords Dance, its speed increased, and its aura became more terrifying.
Ye Jianguo, meanwhile, simply squatted to the side. He pulled a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, and then tossed another one to Kangaskhan.
Kangaskhan seemed to be a heavy smoker as well, skillfully catching it in its mouth and lighting up, its gaze never leaving Raikou.
