Bruno quietly flicked his right hand, and a transparent teleportation gate silently appeared beside Nami.
Nami didn't notice it at all, completely engrossed in watching Oguro and the others beat the hell out of CP9.
"Now!"
Bruno suddenly thrust both arms forward, and the upper half of his body instantly vanished through the teleportation gate.
Behind Nami, Bruno's upper body appeared outside the gate, his hands reaching for her shoulders!
"Nami, watch out!"
Yamada Hanataro, who was closest to Nami, noticed the danger. He performed a shunpō, appearing behind her, and swung his zanpakutō.
The blade struck forward, forcing Bruno to retract his hands.
"Damn it! Just a little brat dares to stop me!"
Anger surged in Bruno as he swung his right hand rapidly toward Hanataro's head.
"Rotating Gate!"
Anything touched by Bruno's hand would spin like a revolving gate—including people! In the original timeline, Luffy fell victim to this attack, his eyes uncontrollably spinning, making his movements uncoordinated and putting him at a disadvantage.
Hanataro didn't know the danger of this move, but as a Shinigami, his instincts screamed a warning, allowing him to dodge.
However, behind him was Nami, defenseless. If he dodged, what would happen to her?
At that thought, Hanataro decided not to dodge and prepared to fight to the end.
"You sneaky bastard, trying to ambush our people!"
A small figure seemed to appear out of nowhere, delivering a kick to Bruno's head.
Boom!
Bruno instantly vanished from the teleportation gate.
Thud!
He was sent flying backward from where he had been standing, crashing into a wall and bringing part of it down.
Soifon landed steadily, brushing off nonexistent dust, looking utterly indifferent.
"Such weak power, and you dare block the path of the Soul King!"
Though Soifon hadn't acted yet, she had been observing the entire battlefield. With her speed, she could provide support anywhere instantly.
In just a few breaths, the entirety of CP9 was utterly defeated.
Oguro approached the only member still conscious, Jabura.
"So, where is Nico Robin being held? Where's Spandam?"
"Pfft!" Jabura spat violently. "I'm a proud ace agent of CP9! How could I ever leak information to you?"
"Tch! Spandam may be trash, but his subordinates do have some backbone," Oguro said, slightly helpless.
If CP9's commander weren't Spandam, maybe these people would have had a completely different future.
"Fine! If you won't speak, I'll find out myself," Oguro said calmly.
A mocking smile appeared on Jabura's face.
The judicial tower wasn't like an ordinary building; its interior was intricately designed, like a labyrinth. Without memorizing a map, someone could get lost inside for days.
However, Oguro's next action left Jabura utterly dumbfounded.
Oguro raised his palm to the sky and whispered,
"Overlord! Mask of flesh, all-encompassing, wings taking flight, crowned with humanity! Heat and chaos, sweeping across the seas to the south, step forward! Hado #31: Shakkahō!"
He compressed the power of the Shakkahō into a beam and unleashed it into the air.
Boom!
The fiery red beam tore through multiple walls, creating a passage from below to above.
Incredible!
Unable to find the path, he simply made one himself!
"Let's go!"
Oguro wrapped Nami's waist with one arm and flew up through the passage first.
The others immediately followed.
Oguro activated his Observation Haki, stopping on each floor to scan thoroughly.
After searching the entire area, he found… nothing.
"Impossible! Even if we can't find Robin, there's no reason we can't locate Spandam!"
Though Oguro had never met Spandam in person, he knew him to be a measly Level 9 in combat ability—the weakest among them. Yet, the result was complete failure.
At that moment, Nami spoke up, "Lord Oguro, could it be that they knew we were coming and left ahead of time?"
Left?
Oguro froze.
The only place they could flee to on Judicial Island was the Justice Gate at the back!
It led to two other World Government institutions:
The strongest maritime force—the Marine Headquarters.
Impel Down, the first prison holding countless dangerous criminals.
"Oh! I really made a stupid mistake!" Oguro slapped his forehead.
To reach the Justice Gate, they had to go through the Hesitation Bridge, located in the underwater tunnel beneath the Judicial Tower.
So he shouldn't be searching upward—he should be going down!
"You! Take us to the Hesitation Bridge immediately!"
Oguro grabbed a World Government staff member, forcing him to lead the way.
These people weren't trained like CP9 and quickly succumbed to Oguro's force, leading them into the Judicial Tower's secret passage that connected directly to the underwater tunnel.
The group hadn't traveled far before a massive iron door blocked their path.
The staff member, fearing Oguro's anger, immediately explained:
"This is the door separating the Judicial Tower from the Hesitation Bridge! Commander Spandam must have closed it after passing through!"
"This iron door is over half a meter thick. Not even bombs can break it. There's nothing I can do!"
Oguro waved him away, quietly saying, "Soifon!"
Soifon understood immediately, standing in front of the door. Her spiritual pressure instantly erupted, condensing on her shoulders and back.
With a flash, the milky-white pressure concentrated on her right hand as she delivered a heavy punch to the iron door.
Boom!
The entire underwater tunnel shook as if an earthquake had struck.
Not far away, Spandam, rushing toward the Hesitation Bridge, nearly fell.
"What's happening? What's going on?" Spandam asked anxiously.
Robin, deep in thought, showed a flicker of concern in her eyes.
The more commotion on Judicial Island, the stronger the World Government and Marine response.
Oguro… for the sake of someone as unimportant as me, are you really willing to risk your dreams?
Spandam kicked Robin's back, shouting, "Trash! Move it! Don't delay me from opening the Justice Gate!"
The switch for the Justice Gate was on the second pillar of the Hesitation Bridge—not too far, but it couldn't be delayed!
Thud!
The iron door crashed heavily to the ground, and the World Government staff member collapsed in terror.
That was a bomb-proof iron door! And it had been shattered by a single punch!
Is this even human?
As the iron door fell, Oguro's Observation Haki spread like an unstoppable wind.
Soon, two clear figures appeared in his mind.
A cold smile curled at the corner of Oguro's lips. "Found them."
