There is a huge crowd in the Shanghai University today. Everyone is going here and there, rushing here and there as today is their last day to celebrate in this university. Not only theirs, mine also. Everyone is trying their best as they are having the last party here. Everyone is already here in the party by following the theme and all of their clothes are just shiny and shimmer just like the theme of today's party euphoria glam.
And here I am standing in the middle of this crowd and lost in the memories of my whole four years of life that I have spent here only and now it's time to say goodbye to my this home that was mine for the four years.
From here I really don't know where life will take me but I have never wished anything other than having a peaceful life where him and I live together in our sweet home which is not soo big but cozy and that home gives the vibe and energy of togetherness of us.
That home should be filled with our laughter, your teasing and my drama all the time and I laughed a little while thinking that in my mind.
And yes I'll do a job in an interior designing firm here in Shanghai and I'll go to my office from nine to five and you'll also get busy doing shooting with your new upcoming drama projects but at that time will we be able to find time for each other?
And that question really stuck me over there because when our lives get on their original paths we may not be able to find time for each other to talk.
So does that mean—
Before I moved forward in my overthinking Wang Ruoxi came to me and said excitedly, "Zhao Shiza why are you standing here? Don't you want to look around the whole Shanghai University for the last time?" she asked me.
"Of course I want to," I said.
"Then what are you waiting for come with me," she said and after saying that she held my hand and took me everywhere in the university.
We didn't have any other friend here other than each other but we talked to everyone here so we went to few of our classmates and talked to them.
Not us, Wang Ruoxi talked to them and I am just standing silently numb and smiling over here as I am not this much good in talking and as Wang Ruoxi talks to them I am listening to them about how they all have planned for their future.
Few of them already applied in many big firms in Shanghai and waiting to get the mail revert back and few have applied in Beijing as they want to do the job in their hometown and few applied in Suzhou and few in Shenzhen.
And Shenzhen… this city whenever I hear it a light smile appears on my face as it's my Yuan's city. My Yuan was born here and studied there.
This is one of my favourite cities although I haven't visited Shenzhen ever in my whole life but I know it must be calm and composed and soothing just like my Yuan.
"What are you thinking Zhao Shiza? Come and let's grab something to eat I am too much hungry," Wang Ruoxi said to me.
"Aren't we going to take a look around the whole university?" I asked her because she is the one who said it earlier.
"Yes we were, in fact we will but after eating something. I am tooo exhausted now I need energy," she said.
"Yes of course after talking to each and every student of our batch you must be getting very tired and exhausted there is no doubt in it I truly believe you," I said to her.
"Are you taunting me?" she asked me.
"Did you find it in that way?" I asked her by making the most innocent face of mine.
"Yes of course if you are taunting me then I'll definitely get it I am not some kindergarten kid," she said.
"Of course you are not but you seemed to be the one," I said to her in a quiet teasing tone.
Then she held my hand and took me to the food stall over there and here we grabbed my favourite shrimp dumplings and noodles.
We both grabbed our chopsticks and started eating it.
My stomach felt a little relaxed after taking one bite of it because yes it's really right that after eating your favourite food you'll get happy instantly.
And then after eating it Wang Ruoxi said, "Let's eat something sweet over there and then we'll end our eating for today."
"No no I have already eaten too much Wang Ruoxi I can't eat more," you know before I completed my sentence she said it in the midway of it that, "Yes I know that you are on a strict diet and you can't eat these things but didn't your one hour ten minutes workout that you do daily burn these calories?" she asked me.
"Yes of course it will but I—"
"There is no but. I know today is your cheat day not cheat meal," she said.
"But cheat day also has some limits Wang Ruoxi," I said to her.
"You are completely gone insane only he can manage you," she said it.
And that he… I got what she meant.
A light blush appeared on my face which I tried to hide but couldn't and she noticed that.
"Now you are blushing standing over here," she said a little teasingly.
"Now you can go eat something sweet ok," I said to her.
"Ok fine then."
Wang Ruoxi went to some of the sweet stalls where she was eating waffles with ice creams and then few of our classmates came to me in a group of seven to eight people and asked me, "Zhao Shiza can you please click photos of us in a group if you don't mind?"
I smiled and said, "Yes of course there is no need to say such kind of words like please."
And then they handed me their camera to click their photos.
I took it in my hand and they made a pose for that group photo.
I am completely focused on clicking their pictures and I am setting the angle of the camera for the photo so I am just moving here and there like right to left side and left to right side.
Then I took few steps back without looking behind me, just few more and more until my back hit something… something stronger like a pillar.
And I know this… I really know it.
Because it's not the first time that it happened to me, it happened earlier also.
And before I reacted or even turned my head around a voice came into my ear.
The same voice which is enough to make my Mr heart flutter.
Saying softly, "Be careful silly girl."
Then the camera in my hand was about to slip from my hands but somehow I managed it and held it tightly in my grip.
Slowly I turned around and when I looked up I saw him standing right in front of me wearing a black shirt which just matches my dress.
A kind of twinning that I can say about it.
And with the black pants just complementing his whole look.
Of course my Yuan looks best whatever he wears but today… today he matches me which is really a very huge feeling for me.
And when I looked slightly upward I saw his face but it's covered with a black mask.
Of course it is.
Because if he opens his whole face and comes here without a mask then everyone will forget that today is our farewell party and this day will become Xu Yuan's visit in Shanghai University without any promotional event.
But this mask didn't hide the gaze of his deep expressive eyes.
I can see his eyes which hold everything in it and right now those eyes feel soo much overwhelming while seeing me right in front of him.
Maybe I got it wrong but it seemed like that only.
Then he pinched my cheek very lightly just like touching a petal of a sacred flower and asked me, "I am standing right in front of you and again you have lost somewhere else?"
I got a little shocked as whatever happened just now I am still processing it.
Then I said, "No actually I mean… how did you come here?"
"By car," he said.
I laughed a little after hearing that answer from him because I just realised what a stupid question I had asked him.
Then I asked him, "No I mean how did you know that I am having my farewell today and when did you plan to come here?"
"The moment I knew that today is your farewell I decided right away to give you a surprise visit here," he said.
"Did Wang Ruoxi give you that information?" I asked him.
He smiled and said, "Yes this time she herself called me and gave me this information as she said you were looking very lost nowadays as both the two big things in your life are ending. First our drama series shooting and second your journey in Shanghai University."
"And she found you quite lost so she told me everything about this farewell party theme and everything."
"So I brought this dress for you."
"And I myself bought this dress for you. Don't think that I am Xu Yuan so I gave this work to some designer. I myself chose this dress for my silly girl."
"And I think it really suits her in every way and just like I thought you made this dress more beautiful after wearing it."
I blushed a little but I hid it and said to him, "So after soo many days I am able to get my Margherita pizza back isn't it?" I asked him.
He chuckled and said, "So whenever you blush you hide it while covering it."
"No," I said as I got a little shocked that how he caught me.
"But your ears didn't lie. See it turns red," he said while pointing towards my ears with his fingers.
Then I touched my ears and tried to hide it with my hands.
He laughed a little and said, "Don't hide it you are literally looking very cute like this."
And he again made me blush soo hard.
I think today's day I must declare as my blush day.
Then the group who asked me to click their photos came and said, "We'll do it later you should talk to your friend."
Then I handed their camera back and see I didn't even click their pictures.
Then they left leaving us alone.
Then he said to me while bending a little to meet my eyes, "Don't you take me for a walk around your Shanghai University?"
And I nodded my head.
He smiled.
Then we walked inside it...
