The evening sun hung low over Arlong Park, casting the sky in molten gold as the sea shimmered with crimson streaks.
The statue of Arlong—jaws wide and proud—stood at the gate, glaring over the compound like a false idol. Waves crashed rhythmically against the coral walls as the air thickened with humidity, salt, and fear.
Villagers gathered at the edge of the forest, too frightened to step further. The news of the deal between Nami and Arlong has already spread around all the village .
Cocoyashi's sky echoed with the laughter of the fishmen who had ruled their lives for years. But that laughter soon faltered.Because two figures walked up the cracked stone path toward the gates of Arlong Park.
Zoro's green haramaki fluttered slightly in the sea breeze. His swords clinked against his side as his eyes narrowed on the gate ahead.
Beside him, medusa's heels clicked softly against the stone—each step carrying divine poise. Her purple hair rippled behind her, gleaming faintly as the setting sun bathed her in firelight.
"Quite the fancy hideout,"
Zoro muttered.
"Ugly statue, though."
"Typical for tyrants to worship themselves,"
Medusa replied, her tone calm but cold.
"Let us erase their illusion of power."
The massive coral doors opened with a grating groan. The Arlong Pirates poured out—half-leering, half-chuckling—armed with tridents, hooks, and teeth sharper than knives.
The pool inside gleamed an eerie turquoise, with faint ripples from the monstrous presence lounging within it.
Arlong, watching from his throne, smirked but did not rise.Instead, he gestured lazily to his officers.
"Well seems like we have .....guests ? Deal with them,"
he ordered.
"They're not worth my time yet."
The Storm BreaksThe first to emerge was Chew, grinning as he cracked his knuckles.
"Two little humans against Arlong's army? Hah! You'll drown in our domain!"
His jaws opened wide—Water Shot! A burst of pressurized water tore through the air like a cannonball. In a single motion, Zoro drew two swords and stepped forward, slicing through the blast.
The cut divided the water jet—steam exploded around him as the impact split the ground at his feet.
he growled, slipping Wado Ichimonji between his teeth.
"You talk too much."
He lunged—a flash of steel, the sound of air breaking—and slashed deep across Chew's chest.
The fishman howled, crashing into the pool with a splash that sent waves spilling over the coral floor.
At the same time, Kuroobi dashed forward—his footwork precise, fluid, and terrifyingly fast.
"Fishman Karate—Shark Tile Punch!"
The air compressed around his fist, creating ripples before he even struck.Medusa barely inclined her head.
"Futile."
Her chain—the Nail of Heaven—lashed forward in a streak of violet light. It met Kuroobi's punch head-on.
The impact sent a visible shockwave bursting through the courtyard. The fishman was flung backward into a coral pillar, cracking it from base to tip.
But when the dust cleared, more opponents emerged. The courtyard teemed now—half the Arlong Pirates encircling the pair. The fishmen roared and rushed in waves.
"Leave some for me!"
Zoro shouted.
"I was going to say the same,"
Medusa replied sharply, mounting her spectral Pegasus in a burst of white light. The creature's hooves tapped the air, creating ripples above the battlefield.
A Dance of Steel and DivinityPegasus charged through the air, wings leaving trails of blinding mana that shattered coral spires beneath.
Rider's chains spiraled outward, wrapping around guns, limbs, and throats—dragging fishmen screaming into the sky before hurling them brutally to the ground.Below, Zoro carved through opponents in perfect arcs of motion.
"Oni Giri!"
His blades flashed once—and three fishmen fell simultaneously, their weapons spinning away across the water-slick floor. Blood mixed with seawater.
The scent of iron filled the air. From his throne, Arlong's smirk faded. His fins twitched in agitation as he gestured for Hatchan to join.
The six-armed swordsman grinned and leapt down, drawing his six blades in one swirling motion.
"You've got three swords, I've got six!"
Hatchan boasted.
"Let's have some fun, human!"
Zoro grinned, eyes gleaming with challenge.
"Six against three… I like those odds!"
Their blades collided—twelve streaks of steel flashing under the dimming sun. The entire courtyard rattled with the clangs and sparks from their duel.
Hatchan's extra arms blurred with speed, but Zoro's instincts carved through the chaos—his senses sharp, his stance grounded.
Their final clash shattered two coral columns. Hatchan staggered, panting, then fell backward into the pool.
As Zoro caught his breath, Medusa swept down beside him. Her Pegasus's wings folded elegantly, and her chain dripped with seawater and bloodied fragments of coral.
"It is done,"
she said softly.Zoro nodded, sheathing his swords one by one.
"Yeah. The others won't be getting up anytime soon."
Across the yard, fishmen groaned, unconscious and scattered. The statue of Arlong now bore cracks across its stone jaw—its grin shattered, symbolic of the crumbling reign it represented.
From the entrance, the villagers dared to step forward. The air trembled, heavy with disbelief and awe. Mothers clutched their children. Men who once paid tribute in tears now stood tall, shaking as they realized what they were seeing.
"They… they're actually winning against the Arlong Pirates…"
"Nami's friends,"
someone whispered.
"They're real monsters."
The sea breeze stirred again. Zoro looked up toward the tower, where Arlong still lounged—expression unreadable.
"Guess the boss didn't feel like joining in."
Rider's voice was low and resonant as she looked skyward, crimson eyes burning beneath her blindfold.
"He will..."The two warriors stood side by side as the rays of sunlight fell from the horizon turning the sea crimson in it's wake.Behind them, Cocoyashi's villagers no longer whispered in despair—but in hope.
As the atmosphere turned tense a carefree voice came from the broken gates of arlong park.
" Arara~ you guys really like to make a lot of mess don't you ?"
Ash accompanied by nami and nojiko entered the arlong park with the same lazy, and carefree attitude of grim reaper.
Seeing the destruction Nami was stunned - she knew her friends were strong .But she didn't knew they were this strong ! Moreover The grim reaper didn't even move a single finger and the fight was almost over , Leaving only Arlong behind !
Unlike Nami , Nojiko was simply too shocked- for her fishmen were terrifyingly unbeatable and yet they were now panting for air just because of two people !
Seeing Nami enter Arlong sneered and spoke-
" Just because you won from these - trash , doesn't mean you won the war Nami ."
Nami stilled - The fear of arlong instilled in her from since childhood but a simple head-pat on her head from Ash was enough to provide confidence and overcome her fear of Arlong.
She spoke resolved with conviction -
"Today - your rule will end arlong!"
Arlong sneered but said nothing instead he turned his gaze to Ash. Only to hear a vile remark from him.
" My,my.....are you the fish-head, that's been scaring the kids around here ? "
Ash grinned while tilting his head sideways in a thinking manner -
" I.... don't really like to judge people based on their appearances but damn,....may your fish god or whatever ' have mercy on you ....because your damn genes really didn't."
A vein bulged on Arlong's forehead-
" Grim reaper ....."
Ash grinned wider .
" Well.... isn't it great , it seems - I don't have to introduce myself , we can just directly start making you into fish soup."
Zoro chimmed in with a disgusted look on his face -
" Your taste in food is surely...essentric ..captain, I .....uh ..didn't knew your pretty ass was into stuff like this."
Medusa gave a quiet nod of acknowledgement.
Ash scowled slightly irritated-
"Don't destroy my entry ! you green sea food- you destroyed all the hype I created for myself !"
