The entirety of Galdosh had crumbled.
Not cracked. Not damaged.
Flattened.
Broken towers leaned like gravestones. The once-busy streets were nothing but trenches carved by claws and sword strikes. Dust rolled across the ruins like fog.
I didn't expect my fight with Euphilios to reach this level of destruction.
He slammed his claw against my sword again.
Metal screamed.
I blocked it.
The force surged through my arms like lightning. My boots dug into shattered stone as the impact spread outward, sending debris flying.
For a second it became a pure contest of strength.
Dragon against human.
Then the pressure exploded between us.
The shockwave blasted us both apart.
I skidded across the broken ground while Euphilios was thrown backward through the skeleton of a collapsed building.
"I will not let you trample on us again!"
I shot forward before he could recover.
