~At a certain Art Gallery in Country V~
The Artsphere gallery had been meticulously set up to hold what seems like the most important and high class Art Exhibition. The Aurora crystal chandelier cascade like a frozen waterfall of light. It's slender, curved arms, crafted from finely polished chrome, as it hung high in the ceiling supported a dazzling array of crystal droplets that refracted and reflected the surrounding light, giving the room a surreal feeling of standing under raindrops.
A collection of ethereal landscapes, surround the first floor, each piece whispering secrets of ancient forests and forgotten magic. There was a long stairs that led upstairs, it seem to only contain important and powerful individuals. The rooms was decorated with a silver and blue motifs, the colors representing a harmonious blend of modernity, tranquility, and sophistication.
The whole of the concepts and decoration of the Art Event was certainly a show of wealth and power, from the silver and gold champagne glasses to the gold cutlery and rare fruits that aerobes the tables, to the stunning astral-inspired sculptures in the room to the finely and expensive dressed guess that showcase various color of blue, giving the room an ethereal glow, with their expensive million dollars necklace and jewelry that seems to shine brightly capturing her attention in the light of the room. This is surely an event for the top influential and powerful people in the country.
This was the sight that graced Serena and Kathy's view when they walked into the Art Gallery, Serena was shocked by the aura that seems to dominate the whole vicinity around her, she walked hand in hand with Kathy, as Kathy called a waiter and picked up two drinks for her and Serena.
"You don't have to drink the wine as it might contain high dose of alcohol, just hold it in your hands for now." Kathy adviced her in a low voice.
Serena nodded absentmindedly before turning around to have a proper look at the hall, she feels so out of place. The view might be normal for Kathy and everyone there but to her it was almost surreal, she find herself feeling grateful that Kathy had urge her into dressing up properly for the event, if not she was sure she would have embarrassed herself, she thought to herself as she glanced around hoping to catch a glance at the main reason she had come to the event, Everyone seems to be busy either chatting with an Acquaintance or looking at the Art pieces on display.
When one waiter suddenly bumped into Kathy spilling the drink he carried on her dress, he apologized quickly as he dashed out, Kathy groaned as she tried to remove the bright red stain from her gown since she was wearing a bright color the stain was very evident and could not be ignored.
"I'm sorry Renie, but I'll have to leave you on your own… let me try getting this stain off."
Serena nodded as she watched Kathy go, she turned around as she glance to her left and right
"What I'm I to do now?" Serena walked to stand in front of one Art piece.
"What is a beautiful damsel like you doing standing here all by yourself?" She turned around to see a fairly good looking man making his way to her.
"I'm Lukas Graham, an artist" he said as he reached for her hand, he brought her hands to his lips as he placed a lingering kiss on her hands.
Serena was very uncomfortable and she felt weird when he kissed her hands compared to what she felt when Mr.Won had kissed her at the bar, she wondered why she felt so disgusted when the man lips had only brushed her hands,she felt the hair around her body stand up, the men where both strangers to her yet she felt safe with Mr. Won, she quickly snatched her hands away from his hold.
"I'm waiting for my friend." Serena said irritatedly but she still tried to be respectful.
"I see." He brought out his company card and gave it to her "this is my contact line." Serena took it as she kept it in her purse.
"Do you mind me showing you some great Art pieces?" She turned to properly assess him, he was quite good looking and seems quite wealthy, he wore a cobalt blue expensive looking suit and the latest Rolex Daytona wristwatch, over all he looked pretty decent but Serena was not impressed, she just want him to leave her alone.
Like I have a choice. Serena thought before she smiled at him sweetly.
"I don't mind that." The man move to hold her wrist to direct her to the Art piece when she felt an overbearing suffocating presence coming from her side, she turned to see Mr. Won in a black diamond suit approaching them, his eyes burned with an unholy intensity, sucking out the light from the air, his eyes swept pass her as it narrowed on Lukas hands that was still holding her hands.
