"I was hoping to find you here, but was disappointed when you didn't show up." Addison dapped Angela up.
"Sorry, I was on the other side of the forest."
Addison furrowed her brow. "Did you not hear the beast roar? It was really loud."
"Ohhh, I thought that was Jin's annoying snoring."
'Why am I catching strays?'
"Well, anyway, I'm glad that you're here. You're power will come in handy as we try to bring this beast down." Addison watched as everyone attacked the dragon, barely able to do anything against the beast.
"What do you need help with?" Jin asked
Addison looked him up and down. "What could you even help with? You're weak."
Angela nearly came to Jin's defense on instinct, but she held back. "To be my cheerleader, of course."
'Bitch.' He was referring to Addison, not Angela
"There is a reason why most of the boys were ordered to leave. Their power kits wouldn't be of any use here."
Jin knew who Addison was. She had a superiority complex and didn't like working with men. She only associated herself with people who had status or powers on a similar level to hers, such as Angela.
Her powers were energy projection, manipulation, and she also had energy absorption. Addison was a powerhouse.
Even if Jin fought her with everything he had, it would be tough. He would win, but it wouldn't be easy. She was extremely powerful for her age.
"Well, first of all, you're attacking the dragon all wrong. You have the right idea about keeping it grounded. But everything else is out of whack. Aim for its weak points, like the eyes, ears, wings, nose, and the inside of its body." Jin still decided to give them advice.
Addison wasn't even going to listen to Jin, but after hearing him out, she couldn't deny the good advice.
What he said was true, and it was better than hoping one of the girls could break a dragon scale.
"Keep your guardian on a leash. Anegla." She took off into the sky. "AIM FOR ITS EYES!"
"Did that bitch just call me a dog?"
"Easy, boy."
"Fuck you."
"Haha!"
Angela went to help the others while Jin decided to work with what he had.
"Okay, I'm going to need metal spikes. Large metal spikes. Ahem. DOES ANYONE HERE HAVE THE ABILITY TO CREATE METAL?!"
One girl turned around, spotting Jin and recognizing him from the first test. She quickly ran over to him and asked what he needed.
"I need you to create six large metal spikes, large enough to go through the dragon's limbs."
She looked at the dragon and took a deep breath. "That might be kind of tough, but I can try."
"That's all I ask for." Jin then turned his attention to the three girls who helped him in the first test. "Hey, technology ladies, I need a hand."
None of them questioned him since they were able to pass the first test thanks to him. Jin told them that he needed them to create a device that would allow him to shoot the metal spikes into the dragon.
After explaining, they quickly got to work.
"Angela!"
"Talk to me, princess."
"I need you to focus your attacks around the wrists and ankles of the dragon. I need you to freeze those areas to make the scales lose their durability."
"You got it." She skated to the dragon's legs, blasting thick ice onto its ankles. To speed things up, she dropped the surrounding temperature, causing the cold-blooded creature's strength to visibly wane.
"Nice. Addison, keep the dragon distracted."
She didn't answer, but still did as he asked. The dragon opened its mouth, blasting her with a disgustingly hot jet of fire that incinerated everything in its path. But for Addison, that supercharged her.
The energy she absorbed made her body crackle with so much power that if she wasn't so in control of her abilities, she would have released it prematurely, injuring her allies.
"Wrong move, you lizard." Combined with her own strength, she charged up all of the energy in her body and punched the dragon in the snout, then blasted it in the face.
"Jin, everything is finished." The girls informed him.
What he saw was a massive crossbow with one spike already armed and ready to fire.
"Sweet! Let's get to work." He fired the first one into one of the dragon's wings, preventing it from flying away. The metal spike was attached to a metal cable, and when Jin fired the spike, another one was launched into the ground behind him.
"Arm the second one!"
The second one was armed, and he shot it at the other wing.
The dragon screeched in pain, flapping its wings to fly away, but it wasn't able to do so.
"KEEP IT ON THE GROUND!" Addison commanded.
"Arm the third one. Angela, move!"
Seeing a large crossbow aimed at her, Angela moved out of the way, and the bolt tore through the dragon's leg.
"Yes! Again!"
They did this three more times, and the dragon was finally pinned to the earth.
"Hey, make another one. This time, add this to it." Jin tossed the girls an explosive, and they understood what he wanted.
Now that the dragon was pinned to the ground, everyone went all out and attacked it with everything they had. Its eyes were destroyed, its nose was blown off, and the dragon got a mouthful of ice.
"Ready, Jin."
"I saw this in a movie once. OUT OF THE WAY, EVERYONE!" Jin fired the bolt into the dragon's butt, then it exploded.
"Ha, maybe not that last part."
"Ew, Ew, Ew, Ew! It's in my hair!" The boys started to run around, disgusted that dragon guts spilled onto them.
Jin thought it was funny seeing them act like girls from his perspective.
"Nice work, princess, maybe you're not useless after all. Actually, I take that back, you couldn't have done what you did without those four, so yeah, you are useless. Hahaha!"
'I feel like she enjoys making fun of me'
