Dr Lian couldn't believe his ears. He let his breath out slowly, trying to rid himself of being irritated. Dr Wilson was no less different from the man he had defended Ava from the other day. He was completely obsessed with Ava, like Frodd.
"It wasn't a good decision if you ask me," was all Dr Lian said, as he placed his hands on the young doctor's shoulders, holding it briefly, and letting go gently .
Shifting his attention from him to Alfred, he saw the lad was doing pretty well. The surgery had lasted 12 hours, and inspite the difficulty they had encountered, intra op, what mattered now, was Alfred was doing well so far.
"He's doing pretty good." Dr Wilson blinked, standing on the other side of Alfred's bed. "He's a lucky champ. When they first came to my hospital, Ava had said, his seizures, and severe palpitations stopped a couple of years back, at a time she couldn't afford his medications."
