Windmill Village, early morning.
A dull thud broke the morning's tranquility.
Thump!
A giant wild boar, its size comparable to a tiny mountain, was thrown onto the open ground at the village entrance. Wayne, who had carried it back, clapped his hands, then stood with his hands on his hips, silently awaiting the villagers' praise.
"Wow!"
"My goodness! It's so big?!"
The villagers gathered around, looking at the behemoth and exclaiming in surprise.
"Wayne, did you really kill this by yourself?"
"Of course!" A young lady nearby eagerly replied, her tone full of admiration, "Wayne is a man who ate a secret treasure of the sea! Look at him, after eating the Devil Fruit, he not only became tall and handsome, but his strength is also terrifying."
"That's right, that's right," another woman chimed in, a look of relief on her face, "With Wayne in our village, those pirates definitely won't dare to cause trouble!"
Wayne smiled and called out loudly, "This big guy, my sister and I can't possibly finish it all. Since everyone is here, let's just share it so everyone can have a taste."
"That's great!" Woop Slap, a young man wearing a red striped hat, jumped up happily, "I'll go call everyone right away!" He turned and ran, shouting as he went.
"Don't just stand there," Wayne gestured with his chin to the still-astonished villagers, "Go home and get something to put the meat in!"
"Oh, oh! Thank you, Wayne!"
"Thank you so much!"
The villagers then woke from their stupor, cheering and scattering to their homes to fetch basins and baskets, their faces brimming with simple joy.
Wayne watched their busy figures, a slight smile playing on his lips.
During his leisure time while waiting for news on Bullet, he had spent quite a bit of time drinking and chatting with these simple villagers at the village's party bar, and their relationship was quite good.
After a few days of getting along, Wayne had already found two acquaintances.
One was Woop Slap, the one with the red striped hat, who would become the future mayor of Windmill Village.
The other was little Makino, the daughter of the party bar owner, with dark green hair and always wearing a headscarf. She was seven and a half years old, and quite adorable.
Rouge stood at her doorstep, quietly watching this scene, her impression of Wayne having greatly changed.
He dared to attack Mariejois and slaughter the World Nobles, and was known as the 'most evil criminal in history,' but in reality, he was like a boy next door; witty, humorous, and liked to complain, though he often said strange things she couldn't understand.
"What a contradictory young man..."
Soon, the villagers, carrying various containers, gathered around.
The wild boar had been bled before Wayne carried it over, a task he had entrusted to the noble Supreme Grade Sword, Typhon. Despite the boar's mountain-like size, it was no match for Typhon.
In just 3 minutes, all the blood in its body was completely absorbed by Typhon, causing the entire sword to emit an eerie, blood-red glow, truly living up to its name as a demonic sword.
Once the villagers were all present, Wayne didn't waste any words. He directly drew Typhon, first dissecting the boar's abdomen and clearing out the internal organs.
Next, his wrist flickered, and the blade turned into a blurred streak of light. Soon, the wild boar was covered in crisscrossing sword marks.
The entire pig, like disassembled building blocks, instantly fell apart into uniformly sized bone-in meat chunks, neatly spread on the ground.
"Don't be shy, everyone, take as much as you want! If it's not enough, I'll go hunt another one from Mount Corvo!" Wayne sheathed his sword with a flourish.
"It's enough, it's enough! This is enough for the whole village to eat for several days! Thank you, Wayne!" The villagers smiled gratefully, beginning to sort the meat chunks in an orderly fashion.
Little Makino, holding a small basket, squeezed next to Wayne, looking up with bright, sparkling eyes: "Big Brother Wayne, thank you! This meat will last us a long time!"
She quickly stood on her tiptoes, gave Wayne a quick hug, and then, like a startled little rabbit, grabbed her basket and ran off, leaving only Wayne's laughter echoing in the air.
No wonder that old man Garp loves to return to the East Blue when he has nothing to do. This place truly has simple customs, with no scheming, an absolute retirement paradise.
It's just a pity that such a life is ultimately too mundane; Wayne needed more fun.
The next day, after seeing the headline in the newspaper, Wayne's mouth curled into a grin: "Finally, Bullet has appeared."
The newspaper content was clear: Bullet, for some unknown reason, suddenly attacked Marine G-21 Branch located in the first half of the Grand Line, and declared that his next target was the Marine Fortress near Long Ring Long Land.
Therefore, Wayne's plan to find Bullet was very simple: just go to Long Ring Long Land and wait for him.
However, before going to Long Ring Long Land to meet Bullet, Wayne had to retrieve something first...
Water 7, a high-end restaurant.
Perhaps his speed was too fast; when he arrived at the Marine Fortress near Long Ring Long Land, he didn't even see a trace of Bullet.
There was nothing he could do, so Wayne decided to go to the nearby Water 7 to pass the time.
Wayne sat by the window, his gaze sweeping across the restaurant, finally landing on a sexy lady enjoying dessert alone not far away.
She had a thick, chestnut-red wavy long hair, casually draped over her shoulders, her features were stunningly beautiful, and her figure was curvaceous, a standard Korean webtoon physique.
Wayne picked up his wine glass and walked over elegantly, a charming smile on his face.
"Excuse me, beautiful lady." His voice was deep and magnetic, "My name is Wayne, a passing artist. Forgive my presumption, but your radiance truly makes it impossible for me to look away."
"Might you be interested in becoming the model for my next work?"
The chestnut-haired, wavy-haired beauty, Eina, looked up, her eyes under long eyelashes showing a hint of surprise and curiosity: "A model? Me? Is that really possible?"
Wayne immediately put on an expression of deep regret: "Why not?! It seems you are truly unaware of your own talent!"
Wayne leaned forward, his hand cupping his chin. His handsome face, combined with eyes that looked at her with deep affection, made Eina's heart rate accelerate, her cheeks flushed, and she even forgot to pull away.
"Look at this face..." Wayne's voice was like a whisper, "Without a doubt, you are the most beautiful girl I've seen in Water 7. It's as if there are stars in your eyes."
He then took Eina's hand, and with a guiding motion similar to a tango, made her stand up and turn in a circle in front of him.
"Hm, Hm, Hm... Perfect!" Wayne commented with feigned seriousness, his gaze sweeping over her curvaceous figure, "Tall, with excellent proportions, truly a masterpiece of God."
"If my artistic intuition isn't mistaken, are you a D-cup?"
