Chapter 15 - Checking The Loot

This World's Commission:

[Commission Order: Rampaging Douglas Bullet]: After learning of Roger's death, Douglas Bullet, who had always strived to train with Roger as his goal, lost his purpose. He now intends to turn the world upside down to vent his dissatisfaction.

Commission Requirements: 1. Defeat Bullet and become his new goal; 2. Help Bullet choose a stage to prove his strength. Completing either of these objectives will suffice.

Commission Reward: Bullet's Physique, Commission Points * 5000

"Bullet…" Wayne stroked his chin. He seemed to have seen this movie; Bullet was the big Boss in Stampede, and he was indeed terrifyingly strong.

Imprisoned in Impel Down for over twenty years, he didn't weaken; instead, he even grew stronger, easily dominating a host of Supernovas.

If he hadn't insisted on using his crappy mech, it would be hard to say who would have won or lost in the end, but he definitely could have escaped unscathed.

However, it's undeniable that Bullet's physique is in a league of its own. If he had eaten even a common zoan-type Devil Fruit instead, his physique would absolutely not be worse than Kaido's.

"Accepted!"

Physique and Haki are the most core abilities in the One Piece world, and Wayne naturally hoped that his two would be as strong as possible.

However, Wayne wasn't planning to fight Bullet. On one hand, he didn't want to be entangled with Bullet, and on the other hand, defeating Bullet wouldn't prove anything; instead, it would expose him to the World Government and the navy, which would be more trouble than it was worth.

As for subduing Bullet, that was even more impossible. Not even Roger, that human succubus, could subdue Bullet, and he didn't believe he had such a great charm.

Therefore, Wayne decided to help Bullet choose a stage, allowing him to vent his frustrations thoroughly. This way, he could gain Chaos Points and Commission Points without having to act himself. Why wouldn't he?

"Hmm, I need to keep an eye on Bullet's news these days. I don't think he'll be quiet."

'Next up are the Otherworld Commissions'

[Commission Order: Turtle Hermit's Troubles]: Turtle Hermit's five art magazines have gone missing. The magazines contain pictures of poor girls in tattered clothes with swollen chests. Turtle Hermit is very anxious. Can you help this poor old man?

Commission Requirements: Create five art magazines. Each magazine must have no less than 30 photos, no less than 10 female subjects. Female subjects must be no less than 170cm tall, have a bra size of no less than 36D, and a hip circumference of no less than 90cm.

Commission Reward: "Kamehameha", Commission Points * 10000

"Holy crap! Kamehameha!"

Wayne could hardly believe his eyes; the reward for the first Otherworld Commission was so incredible.

That was the Kamehameha! A divine technique used by Goku from childhood to adulthood, even as a Super Saiyan. It was one of the most frequently appearing offensive skills in Dragon Ball.

Its value was obvious.

It's just that Turtle Hermit's commission requirements were a bit troublesome. To complete the commission, Wayne would have to find 50 models who met the requirements and personally take at least 150 photos.

To be honest, Kamehameha didn't too mean much to Wayne; he didn't care whether he got it or not.

Mainly, Wayne loved art. Once upon a time, he also yearned to become a great artist.

But on Earth, he could only take suggestive photos for some minor online celebrities and tiger-style cosplayers. All his so-called skills were used for photo editing, and he had no desire to pursue art at all.

Now, it was time to resume his old profession. In this life… "I, Wayne, am the man who will become the King of Art!!!"

It was decided so happily. From now on, his main business would be causing trouble, and his side business would be opening his own information dissemination media company.

He'd call it bra...playb. No, that wouldn't work either. Golden Media. Yes, that's it!

After calming his excited mood, Wayne temporarily shelved the commission dispatch function. Currently, he had a total of 5 commissions:

[Poseidon], [The Pirate King's Last Wish], [Lord of Chaos], [Rampaging Bullet], and the Otherworld Commission [Turtle Hermit's Troubles].

Among them, [The Pirate King's Last Wish] and [Poseidon] could not be completed for the time being and he could only wait.

Therefore, [Rampaging Bullet] and [Turtle Hermit's Troubles] were Wayne's primary targets, with [Rampaging Bullet] having the highest priority.

Next was to tally the spoils from Mariejois. The gold, silver, and jewels didn't matter; the main things were the five Devil Fruits he acquired and the two good-looking swords.

To figure out what they were, Wayne specifically spent 200 points to have the system appraise them. This way, his commission points would be a clean 50,000, which was much more comfortable for the eye.

The Western-style single-handed sword was named Typhon, ranked among the Twelve Supreme Grade Swords. It was a cursed sword, or rather, a Demon Sword. Wounds caused by its slashes were difficult to heal, and absorbing the blood of its owner or enemy could enhance the power of its slashes.

The katana was named Blade of Mist, ranked among the Twenty-One Great Grade Swords. Its appearance was good, but unfortunately, this sword was also depicted on Wade's bounty poster, making it easy to expose his identity if used daily.

The famous swords were temporarily set aside. Now, the five Devil Fruits were about to be revealed.

The first was the Paramecia-type Sube Sube no Mi, which was the Slip fruit supposedly eaten by Alvida, Kaido's alleged illegitimate daughter. Its potential depended on the user's development level, but just the fact that it could beautify the user was already a huge win.

The second was the Paramecia-type Gold-Gold Fruit, which allowed free control of touched gold but could not create gold out of thin air. The future eater of this fruit was the Golden Emperor Tesoro. Its strength was decent but not top-tier.

The third was the Zoan-type Snake-Snake Fruit, Ancient Species, Titan Python Form. There's not much to say; its upper limit can be referenced by the three main figures of the Beasts Pirates.

The fourth was the Zoan-type Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Kirin Form. Its core abilities were controlling sleep and dreams, and materializing dream objects through clouds above the hypnotized person's head, somewhat like a Zoan-type version of the Age-Age Fruit.

The last one was even more significant: the Logia-type Mera Mera no Mi. This was the only Devil Fruit Wayne knew without needing appraisal, as the saying "not even a dog would eat the Mera Mera no Mi" was deeply ingrained.

But jokes aside, would anyone really not eat the Mera Mera no Mi if they got it?

Well, Wayne wouldn't eat it, but the Rumble-Rumble Fruit would be a different story.

Getting back to the main topic, the power boost from Devil Fruits is obvious, and Wayne could still eat two Devil Fruits, which he knew from his system.

However, precisely because he had options, Wayne decided to observe for a while.

These five Devil Fruits were all very good, but there was still some gap from the Devil Fruit Wayne wanted. He wanted Devil Fruits with powerful functionality; simply increasing strength was not as important to him.

For example, the Door-Door Fruit or the Mirror-Mirror Fruit, which have teleportation functions, could further shorten his travel time.

Or, for instance, a Mythical Zoan Vampire Fruit, which could strengthen his physique while also granting him a long lifespan.

In summary, the Float-Float Fruit was very powerful, enough for Wayne to wander around untroubled. The second and third Devil Fruits could be taken slowly; there was no rush.

After all, the item to extract Devil Fruit abilities from the mall was too expensive, at 3 million each, and Wayne couldn't hope to afford it.
