Number Five climbed to the outside of the second-floor window of the three-story building, the hilt of a tactical knife dangling from his mouth. He peered through the crack in the window and saw about four or five people talking and drinking, with several scantily clad women lying in their arms.
Number Five's eyes showed no emotion, only a thoughtful look. He grabbed the edge of the window with one hand to keep from falling, and threw a flashbang in with the other. Soon, amidst a gasp, the flashbang took effect.
Accompanied by imitating the call of an unknown bird, Number Five broke through the window and rushed in. The dark muzzles of guns pointed directly at the panicked faces. The four of them began to fire, one shot, two shots, three shots. Their marksmanship, after long-term training, had reached an 80% success rate. In such a small room, an 80% success rate meant there was almost no possibility of missing, especially since the target was in a state of panic and had even less chance to defend against the bullets.
Four corpses lay on the ground, blood slowly soaking the floor. There were also two women who seemed to have no fighting ability. A moment of hesitation flashed in Number Five's eyes, but he still decisively fired his gun. However, he didn't shoot at the two women, but rather fired two shots at the stairs leading upstairs.
The commotion was so loud that it alerted the people upstairs. When they came down to investigate, they discovered the scene and immediately pointed their pistols at Number Five, ready to fire. Unfortunately, Number Five fired first, hitting the man between the eyebrows, and the body fell to the ground.
"You can leave now! Just pretend you were never here."
Number Five spoke in a cold voice, his indifferent eyes fixed on the two women who were trembling with fear.
With Number Five's permission, the two women fled in panic.
The three members of the special reserve team came up from downstairs. Their final target was the third floor, where the baseball boy's second-in-command, Bloodstained David.
He was on the third floor, but he didn't know what his condition was or how many people were on the third floor.
However, judging from the ratio of people on the first and second floors, the number of people around Bloodstained David on the third floor is certainly not many, but they are probably worlds apart from those on the two floors below, at least in terms of combat quality.
The four men became vigilant and showed no sign of letting their guard down. The only way to reach the third floor was by the stairs, but those above had undoubtedly discovered the situation below. At the very least, the entrances and exits were heavily guarded, and there were countless gun barrels pointed at the stairs, waiting to fire as soon as they came up.
Although things had become somewhat complicated, the four of them still had a solution in mind. Soon, a somewhat risky idea was proposed by Number Three, but everyone nodded in approval and decided to implement it!
...
A day passed, and as the sun rose, a shocking message spread throughout Hank District: for some unknown reason, the entire baseball team had been wiped out, mysteriously murdered by someone the previous night.
This news was undoubtedly a bolt from the blue, stunning the surrounding gangs. The members of the Baseball Boys were no ordinary people. Who could have wiped out at least half of the Baseball Boys members without making a sound? In any case, the leader of the Baseball Boys must be going crazy, because it was said that even the second-in-command of the Baseball Boys, Bloodstained David, died that night.
You have to understand that Bloodshot David was like a brother to Sonic, the leader of the baseball boys. If he died, Sonic would definitely not let it go.
While this news was still spreading, Wang Ya received a system notification that the mission regarding the baseball boy was complete and SCP-173 could be extracted at any time. However, this presented Wang Ya with a dilemma: where should he put the extracted SCP-173? The containment chamber that his subordinates had arranged to build was not yet completed and would require at least five days to be initially repaired.
Indeed, Wang Ya hadn't expected this, mainly because he hadn't anticipated the creation of a finished SCP containment object, especially such a troublesome one as SCP-173 or Peanut.
Main Quest 3: Purge
Time has slowly passed. The SCP Foundation Technology Co., Ltd. has been repaired and has begun to gain recognition. However, some troubles have already arisen. Your underlings have been almost completely wiped out, and Hank District has been occupied by others. Set things right, eliminate the villains, and bring Hank District back under the influence of the SCP Foundation.
[Reward: SCP containment item: SCP-173]
[Status: Completed (scp173: Extractable)]
Although it showed that it could be extracted, Wang Ya didn't dare to extract it at all. How to dispose of it was a big problem. He himself didn't care, but it was hard to say what would happen to others when facing SCP-173. Perhaps they could remain unharmed by keeping their eyes open and staring at it, but Wang Ya felt that at least a dozen cracking sounds of necks breaking would be heard every day inside the SCP Foundation.
"A seasoned expert! A sports rehabilitation therapist, specializing in cervical spondylosis and a master of cervical intervertebral disc repositioning!"
Wang Ya imagined the scene: what if SCP-173 were dressed in a white coat? No, no, no… that would be a really stimulating joke.
If that's the case, Wang Ya would rather hold an exhibition for SCP-173!!!
After much deliberation, Wang Ya decided that it was best not to extract SCP-173 yet, and to wait until the containment chamber was completed.
It's time for Wang Ya to consider this issue. In addition, that underground base is a good site for building various types of containment chambers.
Not only does SCP-173 need to be properly arranged, but dealing with visitors from other timelines and time-disruptors also requires special rooms for containing and imprisoning them.
Landon Fury was instructed to use the resources of the Landon Corporation to investigate the whereabouts of the time-space disruptor. In any case, as long as the person was in Gotham City, there would definitely be some incongruity. A careful search would still be able to find some clues.
Unfortunately, several days have passed and there is still no news from Langton Fury. It seems that the time-space disruptor is hiding very well.
"Even though I won't claim the quest rewards and the main quest won't reappear after refreshing, I still have to try and see what I'm thinking!"
Wang Ya looked very serious as he gazed at his reflection in the half-length mirror in the room. What he wanted to do was test the rules of the manifestation system.
Regarding tasks such as triggering, is it possible to allow others to intervene manually?
However, Wang Ya probably felt that he could intervene in the triggering of the mission, because it was Wang Ya's truest inner thoughts at the time that triggered the mission, and this was the case for several of the triggering missions.
This is centered around Wang Ya, and it reflects Wang Ya's true feelings and thoughts, thus triggering the mission.
But the main quest is different. Wang Ya is considering whether this is an arrangement made by the manifestation system in the dark, or a main quest that appears as events unfold.
If it's the former, Wang Ya feels like he's just a tool; if it's the latter, Wang Ya can be a little more at ease. The difference lies in whether he can influence the changes in the main quest indirectly or through external forces.
Wang Ya's eyes were incredibly deep. Langton Fury, don't let yourself down!
Wang Ya: I feel like the system is trying to harm me. I'm starting to become paranoid. What should I do? Am I just a tool? I have to outsmart the air!
