The second office she found through another search: Sunrise Capital, located inside a newer building with mirrored glass walls and a coffee machine in the lobby.
The receptionist smiled too brightly when Bai Li entered. "Welcome! How can I help you today?"
"I want a large personal loan," Bai Li said. "Fast approval. No delays."
"Of course, please have a seat. I'll get our manager."
Within minutes, a tall man in a tailored gray suit appeared. He looked like someone who sold trust for a living.
"Miss Bai, I'm Zhou Wei, the branch manager," he said smoothly. "You're looking for a loan?"
"Yes. As large as possible. I can provide my income record and credit score."
"That's always nice to hear," he said with a slight smile. "Do you have existing loans?"
"No." Bai Li lied with an expressionless face.
His eyebrows went up, but his expression stayed professional. "Ah, then we can definitely work something out. You have excellent timing, Miss Bai. Our high-limit plan allows up to one million for borrowers with proven bank loan history."
"That's exactly what I need."
He laughed softly. "You're very decisive."
"Time's short," Bai Li said simply.
The process here was more formal. They took her ID, copied it, scanned her phone records, and asked a few questions about repayment. She answered them calmly, giving just enough detail to sound believable.
Thirty minutes later, Zhou Wei returned with a printed form. "Approved. One million yuan. Interest rate is 18% annual. Transfer will reflect in your account shortly."
She signed, thanked him, and walked out.
Her phone buzzed again.
[Sunrise Capital] ¥1,000,000 transferred successfully.
Two down.
By the time it was 2:30 pm, Bai Li had already gone through three more private lenders and she had amassed a total of seven million Yuan. Coupled with the loan from the bank, the total amount of money that she has earned today stands at a striking number of almost 12 million yuan! That was enough money for a normal family to live their whole lives comfortably for their entire lives!
Bai Li herself had almost over 10 million yuan in her savings and coupled with the newly gained 12 million yuan, she now has a total of 22 million yuan in her bank! That was a sky high amount! But Bai Li still felt that it was not enough. After all, her next big plan would almost use up half of the amount of money that she now currently has.
With this thought, Bai Li, standing outside the "TianRong asset services" office, booked a cab with her phone and within a minute, a cab arrived in front of her.
Bai Li entered and within 10 minutes, she reached her apartment complex.
Entering her complex, Bai Li took the elevator and while entering, she unconsciously thought of that woman's back that she saw today. She couldn't help but feel an instinctive urge to find her again but suppressing this weird and unfounded urge, she quickly reached the 10th floor.
Opening the door of her apartment, she directly entered the bathroom. She has been running around a lot of places today and even though she wasn't tired, she was still sticky with sweat and dust from outside and it was quite uncomfortable.
Taking a quick and refreshing bath, Bai Li came out and looked through the closet and chose a normal tshirt with trousers and sat on the sofa looking through her phone. It was a really good thing that she and the previous Bai Li had similar taste in clothes. It would have been a disaster had her closet been filled with skirts or other similar dresses. Bai Li's closet was filled with mostly jeans and pants and shirts and suits and other similar dresses which suits her the most. And her closet was also filled to the brim with clothes meaning that she didn't need to buy more except for some winter jackets and leather jackets and coats.
Sitting on the sofa, Bai Li looked at the time and it was almost 3 pm now. Just as she was about to get up and prepare something simple to eat for now, the doorbell suddenly rang two times in a row.
She knew that it must be Chen Mei who came here. Bai Li stood up and opened the door. Opening the door, she immediately came face to face with Chen Mei. She was a woman, seemingly in her 30's with a picture perfect professional attire and a professional smile on her face.
She immediately presented herself with a smile the moment she saw Bai Li and said,
"Hello, Miss Bai Li. I'm Chen Mei from Baiki Realty. Are you free right now?"
Bai Li: "Of course. This was our agreed time. Anyway, come in."
Chen Mei: "Thank you. Then, I won't be polite."
As she said that she came in. Bai Li took out a pair of slippers from the shoe rack and placed them in front of Chen Mei and Chen Mei also took off her shoes and came in wearing the slippers.
Bai Li: "Sit on the couch and make yourself comfortable. I will bring something for us to drink. Tea or coffee?"
Chen Mei: "Thank you but it's okay. I will just have a glass of water."
Bai Li: "Well then, wait a minute."
Bai Li soon went inside the kitchen and made herself a cup of black coffee and got a glass of water for Chen Mei and came out with a tray. She placed it on the low glass table in front of the couch.
:" Here's your glass of water."
Bai Li said and sat on the other single couch as she took a sip of the black coffee thinking in her mind, "Hmm… Nice. The brewing method was perfect."
Chen Mei also took a sip of her water as she stared at the young woman in front of her eyes.
Chen Mei has seen a lot in her career as a real estate agent, but she has rarely seen someone as young as Bai Li owning her own home, no she has seen another one, also in this very apartment complex and also in such a place like this riverside complex where the housing prices are already high. Thinking of that young woman who was so beautiful that even she started doubting her sexuality the first time she met her, well, in short, she was the one person who almost had her falter from her professionalism. Anyways, she seemed to be living on the 20th floor of this very building. She also owns a three-bedroom duplex apartment which must be worth at least double of this apartment. Chen Mei couldn't help but marvel at the young talents of this generation.
