The atmosphere around the battlefield had turned heavy — thick with despair and tension. Even the air seemed to ripple from the overwhelming energies clashing across the ruined plains.
Far away, in the Sacred World of the Kais, Elder Kai stood frozen, eyes narrowed at the chaotic scene before him.Shin clenched his fists. "Can anyone even fight that kind of power?"Kibito's eyes flicked toward the image of Razor struggling against Duragon, his voice trembling. "At this rate, they'll all be dead…"
Meanwhile, on Earth's Lookout, Dende's eyes darted over the battlefield through his sensing ability, sweat forming on his forehead.
"Their energy… it's dropping fast," he said grimly. Behind him, Eighteen and the others watched in silence, each one feeling the crushing tension. The planet itself seemed to groan under the pressure of the battle raging below.
Down below, Razor stood panting heavily, deep gashes streaking his arms and chest. Duragon, standing a few feet away, was barely scratched — the faint, eerie distortion around him making his figure blur like a ghost. His sword dripped with crimson as he twirled it lazily, eyes gleaming with cold amusement.
Every time someone attacked him — Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, or even Razor — Duragon's figure shimmered, and time seemed to crawl to a stop. Their punches froze midair, blasts slowed into harmless sparks, and in that frozen heartbeat, Duragon would move — striking them, slashing, countering — until the moment snapped back to normal and blood painted the ground.
"His… ability's annoying," Razor muttered, clenching his jaw. He had seen it too many times already — Gohan's punch freezing inches from Duragon's chest before the boy was sent flying. Vegeta's ki blast bending harmlessly away.
Every one of them was running out of stamina. Every second felt like an eternity in Duragon's control.
Goku landed beside Razor, wiping a streak of blood from his cheek.
"He's toying with us," Goku said. "If this keeps up, we won't even be able to move." Razor looked at him, eyes sharp with focus despite the exhaustion. "Then we have to think of something different."
Razor suddenly dashed backward, avoiding another one of Duragon's slashes that carved through the air like a blade of light. As he landed, he shouted, "Goku! Listen carefully!"
The others — Vegeta, Gohan and rest of the Z Fighters who returned after finishing off the grunts— kept Duragon occupied, their combined energy blasts barely buying them seconds. Razor spoke quickly, his voice low but urgent.
"I've got one last attack — Collapsing Star. It's the only thing I have that might kill him.""Then use it already!" Goku said, glancing at him.Razor shook his head. "I can't use it here. The attack could destroy the planet."
Goku's eyes widened. "Then what's the plan?"
"I need you to find a place where I can use it. Somewhere far — anywhere not on Earth."
For a moment, Goku looked uncertain. Then, he smiled slightly — the kind of grin that came right before he did something crazy.
"Heh. Alright. I've got just the place."
In an instant, Goku vanished with Instant Transmission, leaving only a faint shimmer behind.
While Goku was gone, Razor rejoined the battle. Duragon noticed immediately and smirked.
"Still standing? Impressive… though I wonder for how long."
He disappeared from sight. Razor barely saw him move — time distorted, and suddenly a searing pain ripped across his back. Blood sprayed as Razor stumbled, trying to sense where Duragon would strike next. The air around him warped again; another attack sliced across his shoulder.
"Damn it!" Razor grunted, spinning midair, firing a wave of ki behind him just to push Duragon back.
For every second that passed, Razor felt his heartbeat growing heavier. Every drop of energy mattered now.
Just as Duragon raised his sword for the final strike —a familiar voice echoed behind him.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
Goku had returned. He stood with a calm grin, but there was urgency in his eyes. Razor met his gaze and nodded. The plan was set.
Elsewhere, on King Kai's Planet, the small world had just been thrown into chaos. King Kai was waving his arms frantically as Goku reappeared earlier.
"Goku! What in the world—!" But Goku didn't waste time explaining. He grabbed Bubbles and Gregory and vanished, teleporting them safely to the Lookout.
Now, King Kai's planet had only King Kai left — just the perfect, beacon for what was coming.
Back on Earth, Razor took a deep breath. His aura flared wildly, lightning crackling around him as he focused everything he had left. Duragon raised an eyebrow. "Still resisting?"
"Not resisting," Razor said. "Just ending this."
Goku vanished again. In the next heartbeat, he appeared behind Duragon, hand clamped on his shoulder. Duragon's eyes widened. "What—"
And then —both of them disappeared.
Razor sighed in relief as Goku's instant transmission worked, it was a gamble.
The world went still.
A second later, they materialized on King Kai's Planet, the gravity heavier, the space quiet except for the hum of energy.
Duragon staggered slightly from the sudden change, glancing around. "Where—"
Before he could finish, Goku vanished again, reappearing on the Lookout with King Kai, who was yelling in panic.
"What have you done, Goku?!"
"Bought us a chance," Goku said grimly.
He closed his eyes, focusing on the faint energy signature of Razor. "Now it's his turn."
On battlefield, Razor looked up — he could feel it. Duragon was gone. The battlefield was silent.
He smirked, whispering, "Now or never."
"What is he doing?" Gohan asked.Piccolo frowned. "We just have to believe that he knows what he is doing."
Suddenly Goku appeared beside Razor and then teleported him away.
The sky above the small planet darkened as Razor arrived with Goku, the later disappeared again.
Duragon chuckled. "You brought me here to die together?"
"No, I brought you here to kill you." Razor said, his voice calm, resolute.
His aura exploded once again — blinding light forming around his hands as his energy condensed into a giant crimson ball of swirling destruction. The planet shook violently; even in the Sacred World, Elder Kai gasped.
"That mortal! That technique carries the pure essense of destruction, no its different!"
Duragon sensed it too — for the first time, he stepped back, the confidence fading from his face. The air tore itself apart, the energy screaming like a dying star.
Razor raised his voice, shouting through the storm —
"Collapsing Star!"
Suddenly the giant ball started shrinking fast and when it was small enough Razor released it. It instantly appeared infront of Duragon who tries to slow the time but due to the immense destructive ki the surrounding space and time had become chaotic.
When the light finally faded, the tiny planet was gone. In its place, only silence.
