It was something about the way he said it. As if there was no harm in him actually eating meat.
"Sehyun, this is our last meal together. Won't you let me eat with you?" He asked gently. I searched his eyes and couldn't bring myself to refuse him, seeing how sincere he was.
It was just meat…it couldn't be that bad.
Slowly, I let go of his hand. "L-let me do it. I'll feed Sensei." I said. It seemed to be the only way I could handle this situation.
Sensei dropped his chopsticks, "Fine." He grinned at me.
I reached for a piece of meat. Placing it on my plate, with the aid of my spoon, I reduced it into thinner bites. That way, I fed Sensei only the tender whites and not the bony parts.
Every time his lips parted to welcome my chopsticks, I couldn't help but feel as though something bad might happen.
I wasn't vegetarian, I didn't know the consequences of suddenly deciding to try eating meat.
