Sehyun's POV
I was crouched beside my bed, staring at Sensei's sleeping frame. I pushed aside the strands of hair that partially covered his face, sighing as I let my hands wander.
He looked as though he hadn't rested well in days. Was it because of me? I mused silently, my hand feeling the rhythmic rise and fall of his chest. I knew I shouldn't have let him stay, not after promising to protect him but last night, I couldn't help but be greedy.
I missed having his scent around—his touch, presence— and I just couldn't push him away. But today was different. Today, I'd send him off. Pretend like nothing happened. I took back my hand, rising to my feet.
First…I had to go to work.
Watching him sleep so peacefully made me unable to wake him up.
But if he stays another night, then I might not want him to leave anymore…what if it all just circles back to that day? What if this time, it's worse than then?
