Raven was prepared and swiftly moved out of the Auto Vajin's line of fire. After all, the machine was infamous for its "friendly fire" incidents.
When he looked back, he noticed that Takumi Inui had actually arrived with the Auto Vajin. Only Takumi would pull a stunt like that, he thought, impressed. It seemed Takumi was truly determined to get his Driver back.
As the Auto Vajin landed and switched back to its motorcycle mode, Raven stepped forward, immediately drew the Faiz Edge, and slashed at the weakened Takuma again and again.
Clang!
"Ugh!"
Poor Takuma, having been battered by two consecutive waves of concentrated gunfire, was completely dazed and disoriented. Even though his raw strength surpassed Faiz's, he was helpless in his current state.
"You... you bastard!"
Takuma was sent sprawling, rolling several times on the ground before scrambling back to his feet, cursing loudly at Raven.
Just then, a tall, dark figure walked up. He looked down at the fallen Takuma, a slight surprise in his expression. The newcomer was Jay, the Crocodile Orphnoch. After his last encounter with Raven, his dog was injured, and he had spent the last few days getting it treated at a pet hospital, which is why he hadn't taken action. This time, he hadn't brought the dog, intending to fight Raven without restraint.
"You came just in time, Jay! If we team up, these guys are nothing to worry about!" Takuma's confidence instantly returned, and he stood up.
However, seeing this, Raven suddenly deactivated his transformation. He then tossed the Driver to Takumi Inui, who was watching from nearby.
Takumi caught the Driver and the accompanying phone, utterly bewildered.
"You... what are you doing?" He stared at Raven in shock. Yuji Kiba, watching from a distance, was equally confused by Raven's move.
"You transform. I'll leave that guy to you." Raven pointed toward Takuma. He figured he had already weakened him significantly, so Takumi should be able to hold him off for a while.
Next, Raven retrieved his other Driver from the Junglaider. At the same time, he produced a raw egg from seemingly nowhere. He gently tapped the egg against the Driver as if it were an egg-beater, then quickly swallowed the yolk and white in one gulp, giving himself a slight protein boost.
This sight utterly dumbfounded Takumi and the others. Even the distant Takuma was momentarily taken aback, thinking, this person is too strange.
"I don't know why you're doing this, but thanks," Takumi said, unable to hide his excitement at getting the Faiz Driver back. He had initially been resistant to transforming, but after fighting alongside Mari and eliminating so many Orphnochs, he had grown accustomed to the identity of Faiz. Losing the Driver had left him feeling empty.
Takumi expertly strapped on the Driver and input the 555 code into the phone.
"Henshin!"
In moments, Takumi Inui was once again transformed into Kamen Rider Faiz. Seeing this, Kiba was momentarily unsure who had actually been the Faiz that attacked Kaido that night.
"Bastard! Don't think you can scare me by pretending to be cool!" Takuma quickly snapped out of his daze from watching Raven eat the raw egg, and immediately charged at him.
But Takumi intercepted him with the Faiz Edge. "Your opponent is me!"
The two immediately engaged in a fierce battle. With Faiz occupying him, Takuma couldn't attack Raven.
After a moment of brief astonishment, the Crocodile Orphnoch fixed his gaze on Raven. He was a little confused, as his mission was to retrieve the Faiz Driver, which was no longer on Raven. But that didn't matter. All he needed to know was that Raven was his opponent from last time. He launched the first offensive, charging forward.
Raven wiped his mouth, calmly secured his Driver, and slowly twisted a grip on it.
Sigma.
The Driver announced the form, and the two compound eyes on the belt glowed with purple light.
"Amazon."
Finally, Raven spoke the transformation command in a low voice.
Watching this, the nearby Kiba suddenly recalled the scene from that day and swiftly retreated to a safe distance.
In an instant, a burst of intense purple aura exploded outward from Raven's body. The shockwave, like a bomb detonating, slammed into the Crocodile Orphnoch and sent him flying!
"The hunt... begins!"
Transformed, Raven immediately reverted to his savage state. He stomped his foot, and his body launched over a dozen meters in an instant, hurtling toward the Crocodile Orphnoch.
Before the Crocodile Orphnoch could recover from the impact, a large hand clamped down on his head, violently smashing his body into the ground.
