Eric looked down at her hand, then back at her face, utterly unimpressed.
"You done?" he asked dryly, holding his hands up and away from her.
"Uh—yes. Of course, Alpha. Yeah." She smoothed her dress, suddenly very aware she'd overplayed her hand. She turned toward the door, then glanced back once more, clearly hoping for a second look.
The moment the door closed behind her, Delilah squealed silently, fists clenching in victory. It worked. It actually worked.
At that exact moment, the door opposite Eric's room opened.
Sera stepped out.
She wore a red sequin v-neck dress. The high slit revealed just enough leg with each step, the fabric moving fluidly around her thighs. Her heels were modest. Her hair framed her face softly, she had no make up on, letting her natural beauty do most of the work.
She looked… breathtaking.
Delilah stopped short.
Jealousy hit her.
"If it isn't the little slut?" Delilah sneered, crossing her arms, eyes raking over Sera with open hostility.
