Jonathan froze for three seconds, his voice hoarse.
"Why? Just because of the matter of having children? Addison, raising a child is troublesome. We can't even be sure we'll do it well. Isn't the way things are now already good enough?"
"No." Addison coldly questioned him.
"Jonathan, are you afraid of the trouble, or do you simply not want to have a child with me?"
Jonathan was at a loss for words. "I…"
"You don't need to make up excuses to brush me off anymore. Jonathan, maybe you're a good boss, but as a husband, you're truly awful!"
Jonathan's pupils shrank. Awful?
What had he done to deserve such an unfair judgment?
A wave of inexplicable anger rose inside him.
"Addison, I think you need to calm down. You've been too emotional lately. Talking in this state is meaningless. You should stay here for a while. I'll come back to pick you up later."
After saying that, he turned and walked away.
