A closed, the other staring at her phone.
Xu Jingyi closed her eyes, but her thoughts were active.
Lin Ruoyan rarely showed any expression, so it was difficult to read her emotions.
But she had seen Lin Ruoyan's ears turn red more than once or twice.
She had a vague feeling that something wasn't right.
It seemed that every time Lin Ruoyan was in close contact with her, her ears would turn red. She carefully reviewed the previous instances, and decided to probe when they got out of the car later.
There was no traffic at night, and they were home quickly.
Lin Ruoyan opened the door and got out of the car, walking steadily.
But she had walked around to the other side and still hadn't seen Xu Jingyi get out.
Her steps halted, and she feigned a leisurely walk for a few paces, but the other person still showed no sign of getting out.
Instead, Uncle Liu, the driver, got out and approached Xu Jingyi.
"Miss, the Madam seems to be drunk."
The last incident was still fresh in his memory, and he dared not help the
Xu Jingyi ignored her.
She called out a few more times, but Xu Jingyi still didn't respond.
She looked at Uncle Liu and resigned herself to bending down to help Xu Jingyi up.
It was to thank her for tonight's events. For the sake of that project, she must have drunk a lot.
She embraced Xu Jingyi, who then leaned against her, her cheek naturally resting against the other person's neck. dy stiffen, but it quickly passed.

After being helped upstairs in a contorted posture, and being laid on the bed, Xu Jingyi seized the opportunity and pinned the other person down, intending to verify her suspicions again.
For Lin Ruoyan, the scene replayed in her mind.
The memory of Xu Jingyi, drunk and mistaking her for her brother, confessing her feelings, suddenly resurfaced. Her breathing quickened, and those intimate words still echoed in her ears.
She held her breath, then abruptly pushed Xu Jingyi away. The movement was so quick that Xu Jingyi didn't even react, practically bouncing off the bed.
Xu Jingyi's planned advance was thwarted.
Just as she was figuring out her next move, Lin Ruoyan didn't immediately leave but instead reached for the blanket on the bed.
The daytime temperature was pleasant, but the nights were chilly. Xu Jingyi was still wearing a dress, and Lin Ruoyan, worried about her catching a cold, intended to cover her with the blanket before leaving.
However, as soon as she placed the blanket over Xu Jingyi, the other woman swatted it away, muttering about being hot.
Lin Ruoyan: …
I didn't realize you were such a restless sleeper.
After a few struggles, Xu Jingyi's dress became even more disheveled, revealing more of her chest, and even the tips of her breasts were faintly visible.
She had always thought she wasn't driven by desire. But when faced with Xu Jingyi, she realized how ridiculous her previous thoughts were.
Xu Jingyi hadn't done anything, just dressed normally and engaged in a normal relationship between sisters-in-law, yet it was enough to make her feel addicted.
If it weren't for the argument that night, she would probably still be going home every day, like before, to eat dinner with Xu Jingyi and spend the evenings together.
In some inadvertent moments, she'd have these dirty thoughts.
However, even though their relationship had reached this point, she still couldn't restrain her thoughts.
Like tonight, she couldn't help but look at the other woman.
She couldn't stand those men's gazes on her, and had pretended to be drunk to leave early. Even now, she was pretending to be a gentleman and quickly getting up, but when the other woman couldn't see, she couldn't take her eyes off of her, coveting that beauty.
She was the same as those men, harboring dirty thoughts.
