The little slut—just like her mother—already had two guys fighting over her. She stepped off the bus, the stench of red hair still clinging to her, and I could feel the anger rise. Then there was Tyler. He'd said he wanted to "check her out," but when he came back, obsessed.
Apparently, he always had a weakness for fiery girls—the kind who fought back just enough to make the chase interesting. A girl who could throw a punch, who wasn't afraid to fight back—that was his thing. Honestly, I didn't think the weak little sick alpha had it in her to stand up to him, much less slap him across the face. That part almost made me laugh—almost.
