Chapter 55: It Seems Zorathys' Door Listens to Elyn
Zorathys swallowed. He had suspected this right from the moment he met Elyn, but she was scary—and maybe that was part of what he found intriguing about her.
To be honest, from the very moment he had set his eyes on her, he had wanted to take her to the demon realm with him. And thankfully, he got his wish. But he should have known that just because they were engaged now did not mean that Elyn would be any less scary.
She sent all her suitors away, and some of them even cried when they left. She tried to kill her father too, in Zorathys' presence.
Just remembering that made Zorathys swallow.
He turned, searching for the door to his room—the one that wasn't supposed to show itself to other people when he was reading his novels—but it had betrayed him.
"Zor?" she called again.
