Mejiro Dober questioned the black-haired man before her.
"What are you... doing to Shirayuki?"
Not good at talking to strangers and having a fear of men, Dober's face was pale as she questioned Chiya with a trembling voice.
She had seen him take off Shirayuki's shoe and was about to take off her stocking, looking like he was up to no good. And Shirayuki's face had a strange tension to it.
Thinking that she might be in trouble, Dober had hurried over, even picking up a branch from the ground as a makeshift weapon.
Although the flimsy branch was useless, it gave her a great deal of psychological comfort.
"Dober-senpai?"
"Who's your senpai?! How do you know my name! And what are you doing to Shirayuki!"
Realizing his slip of the tongue, Chiya quickly coughed a few times. "Don't get excited, Mejiro Dober-san. I'm Shirayuki's trainer. I'm just checking her foot."
"Checking her foot? Why are you checking her foot? Your eyes don't look like you're just checking."
Her legs trembling, Dober mustered up the courage to retort.
"What's wrong with my eyes?"
"They're ugly, filthy, filled with desire. You're not checking her body at all."
Although I did have some impure thoughts, being described like that is a bit too much...
Chiya was hit with a critical blow.
"It's a misunderstanding, really. I just wanted to see if her foot was injured. She stepped on something just now."
"She stepped on something... then what were you doing?"
"Helping her check."

Shirayuki put on her shoe and hurried to Dober's side.
"Are you okay, Dober-senpai?"
I'm the one who got yelled at, so why is she acting like the victim...?
"I'm fine, Shirayuki..." Dober took a deep breath.
When she was talking to him, she had been so nervous she could barely breathe. The thought that her actions might provoke his anger had made her too scared to move. But even so, she wanted to stop his indecent behavior, especially when the target was her own roommate.

Hearing this, Dober's expression immediately soured. Realizing her faux pas, Shirayuki quickly waved her hands. "That's not what I meant!"
"It's okay." She sighed softly. "Normally, we can't, but because I haven't chosen a trainer for so long, I have no choice but to do it this way."
"I see. I believe that with your skill, a trainer will definitely notice you. At least, the trainer I know thinks very highly of you!"

"Yes."
