Ding ling ling~~~
A notification chimed from Arthur's phone.
He took it out—it was a LINE message from Akashiya Moka.
Moka: "Good morning, Arthur. You should be awake by now, right? Do you have any plans today?"
Arthur smiled faintly and began typing:
Arthur: "Good morning, Moka. I don't really have any plans for today."
For the past few days, Moka hadn't come to see him in person. The two had only been chatting over LINE.
Moka's school was in Suginami Ward, near the border with Setagaya.
Moka: "Then can I come over to your place later?"
Arthur: "Of course you can."
Moka: "See you soon, then."
Arthur: "Mm."
Meanwhile, in Suginami Ward—
"Great!"
Moka beamed as she put her phone away, immediately turning back to her room to change clothes.
She was still in her pajamas.
After rummaging through her closet for a bit, she settled on a pure white crew-neck T-shirt with a white knitted cardigan.
The T-shirt was stretched taut by her proud, towering curves.
Paired with pale-blue straight-leg jeans—her long, straight legs were still unmistakable.
Finally, she grabbed a reddish-brown shoulder bag with a silver chain strap, stuffing her phone and other essentials inside.
Dressed and ready, Akashiya Moka set out for Arthur's place.
About twenty minutes later—
Ding ding ding~~~
Arthur, who was lounging on the sofa playing with his phone, heard the doorbell ring and got up.
He reached out and opened the door.
And there stood Akashiya Moka.
Arthur's eyes lit up at once.
Her blue-and-white light-toned outfit radiated fresh energy and charm—
While her voluptuous figure, alluring curves, and pure, delicate face combined into a paradox of purity and temptation.
An instant surge of possessive desire stirred within him.
"Arthur!!!"
As the door opened, Moka's eyes also brightened. Her lips bloomed into a sweet smile.
The longing bottled up over the four days since they'd last met burst out all at once.
She couldn't hold herself back—she leapt straight into his arms.
Her arms wrapped tightly around him.
Her cheek pressed against his chest.
She listened to his powerful heartbeat.
Breathed in his intoxicating scent.
The blood-red jewel at the center of the cross on her chest flickered faintly.
Moka's eyes grew hazy.
A strange yearning ignited like fire within them.
"Arthur, you smell so good…"
Her fair cheeks flushed crimson as she whispered.
Almost without thinking, her arms slid up around his neck, and she rose on tiptoe.
Her soft, ample chest pressed firmly against him.
Her rosy lips parted slightly.
She leaned toward his neck to bite.
Arthur raised a brow in surprise.
Sensing that Moka could no longer suppress her thirst, he quickly lowered his body's natural defenses—
Otherwise, she'd break her fangs on him.
Moka:Chu~~~
Her fangs sank in, and warm, sweet blood flowed into her mouth.
A shivering rush, like electric current, spread through her whole body.
Moka closed her eyes in bliss.
After about ten seconds, Arthur noticed her soft pink hair slowly fading into silver-white.
She drank for another ten seconds or so—
Then pulled her lips away from his neck.
"Got you."
Just as Inner Moka was about to retreat, Arthur's voice rang out. Her eyes widened in shock.
Because her lips were sealed.
Arthur had returned the favor.
Last time, she had stolen a kiss.
This time, he kissed her back—firmly.
And just as he was about to push further, Inner Moka shoved him back slightly, feigning a cold, scolding expression:
"You've got some nerve."
It was the first time Inner Moka had spoken—
Her voice is deeper, sharper, utterly different from Outer Moka's.
If the outer personality was a cute girl, then this one was a cool, domineering beauty.
"This is called returning the favor."
Arthur met her eyes, calm and smiling.
"..."
Inner Moka stared deeply into him. The next moment, her silver hair shimmered back into pink.
"Eh???"
Outer Moka blinked, dazed.
She distinctly remembered feeding on him—
So why were they suddenly apart?
Arthur chuckled softly:
"Alright, Moka. Don't stand in the doorway. Come inside first."
"O-okay."
Obediently, she slipped into indoor slippers and followed him to the living room.
"Want some tomato juice?"
Arthur glanced at her—it was something he'd prepared just for her.
"Actually… I'm already full. Sorry, Arthur."
Moka shook her head, her pale face flushing pink again.
Her eyes flickered with unease as she apologized softly.
She was nervous—
After all, she had just thrown herself at him and bitten his neck without permission.
What if he hated her for it?
But Arthur only smiled warmly. He reached out and placed his hand gently on her head.
Ruffling her hair softly, he said:
"What's there to apologize for? Didn't I tell you before—I don't actually mind if you drink my blood."
His voice was gentle, his smile tender.
"Arthur… you're so kind!"
At those words, Moka's anxiety melted away—leaving only joy and gratitude.
Her green eyes rippled like mountain spring water under sunlight.
A breeze seemed to ripple its surface.
Shimmering, radiant.
Arthur gazed into those tender, love-filled eyes, and a thought surfaced in his heart.
True to his nature as a man of action, he spoke it aloud:
"Moka… will you become my familiar?"
"Eh?!!"
Moka froze, her eyes widening in disbelief.
"Arthur… what did you just say?"
Inside the hidden dimension of her cross pendant—
Inner Moka, who shared most of her memories, narrowed her gaze slightly. Her crimson eyes rippled faintly.
Arthur's expression was earnest as he met her gaze.
"I said—Moka, will you become my familiar?"
"Stay with me. Forever."
"!!"
Moka's eyes widened even further, her gaze trembling.
Her pale cheeks flushed red like the clouds of a sunset.
Her heartbeat quickened wildly, like a tiny dinosaur rampaging in her chest.
Shock, joy, excitement—
A whirl of emotions tangled within her.
Her quivering gaze spoke volumes of her restless heart.
"Was that… a confession?"
"That has to be a confession!"
"So Arthur wants me to stay with him forever?"
"Should I say yes?"
"I think I like him too…"
"So… should I say yes?"
As she looked at Arthur, countless thoughts swirled in her mind.
It was time for a choice.
Two Mokas appeared in her heart.
One pink-haired. One silver-haired.
The pink-haired Moka smiled brightly:
"Say yes, say yes!"
The silver-haired Moka looked cool and composed:
"…It doesn't sound like a bad proposal."
Memories with Arthur flashed through her mind one after another—
Like a slideshow playing at high speed.
