Accompanied by Rose, the Royal Luna's beta, I entered Daniella's study, every muscle in my body coiled and ready to snap.
Back then, I was obsessed with this room. No one was allowed to enter it without the Royal Luna already waiting outside. Thus, when Luna Daniella had passed, this room remained empty, while I, ever so stupid to believe that Raiden would make me his queen, kept waiting to be the first one to set foot here in her stead.
"Nice to see you again, Miss Dunn," Daniella's voice brought me back to the present with its commanding tone. "I'm glad you found time to come see me today."
"Well, of course, My Luna," I bowed my head, feeling slightly anxious at how formal she sounded. "It's an honor to be invited to the royal palace."
"Please, approach," she then motioned for me to come closer, and my feet moved on their own, dragging me to her desk like I was walking through the mud.
