Lilian stepped out of her house just as Cassandra's car's engine stopped.
As Lilian approached the car, The CEO stepped out, moving around to open the passenger door herself.
When her eyes landed on Lilian, she swallowed hard as if to control herself from doing something dramatic right there... Something like pulling her closer and marking her right there.
"Hey... You look effortlessly beautiful." Cassandra said in a soft voice instead.
"Thank you." Lilian murmured and she ducked her head slightly, playing the shy card perfectly.
Cassandra herself was dressed simply, dark slacks, a silk blouse, her hair loose instead of in its usual professional style. She looked relaxed and stunning.
But Lilian didn't say concerning that. She just slid into the passenger seat, keeping her expression carefully demure.
Cassandra got back behind the wheel, and they drove off into the night.
