Chapter-33: Forming team with the protagonist Robert
"Any way you look strong and you might have cleared it faster than me. Why don't I become your subordinate and form a team to solve the monsters. It would be better to have a team than going alone." Visva suggested.
Well it will happen even if he wanted to or don't want to. It is not like he can kill everyone he sees in the future. At most he can kill few people with his wits and fast moves. So he has to keep a low profile and get the things done.
He was not worried that he would lose the extra benefit and find the secret of the dungeon refresh. There are others that know this secret. But knowing it is useless. Without enough food, no one would dare to stay here and try dungeon refresh.
After dungeon refreshes the monsters are stronger. So they don't dare to take the risk easily. Fortunately Visva can be an exception to this as he has enough food and weapons to go along with the hunting.
But he has to time the things carefully so that others would not find out about his situation before he become strong enough at the very least. After he became strong he doesn't have to depend on these people.
(It is good to form a team. I can use my strength to fight but there are always problems. I play few RPG games before and know the need of a party in a dungeon. Should I agree to him or check for a while before agreeing.) Robert thought in his heart looking at Visva.
After few moments Robert finally nodded his head and said. "Okay, we can form a team and fight together. Now let's go and clear the final rooms of others so that we might get their treasure chests…"
With his suggestion Visva followed him. Visva knows that following this protagonist would have benefits and also risks. That is right usually it is the cannon fodder supporting characters that would die in critical situations.
Visva doesn't want to become a collateral damage for the protagonist so he has to carefully check the situation and work with caution. Fortunately he knows more. Soon they arrived at the boss room again and they quickly went to check the rooms of other pathways.
When they found a room with goblins intact and they did not see anyone fighting in the monster dog room before that, they would enter the room and start fighting the goblins. Robert did not fight with his full strength.
He was actually checking out the strength of Visva. Visva heard his inner voice before entering the room. (I have to check out his fighting capabilities so that I would not work for him for free.) Robert thought in his heart.
Visva knowingly fought with goblin in a very normal pace. Two days ago he is weak but now he is stronger than before. 1 stat point improves the overall strength by 1 time. But if this stat point is improved through hard work then it would increase the base value of the stat.
That means 1 stat point gives more power than normally adding 1 stat point. For this reason Visva did not add a single stat point till now. Also for benefits of level improvement he did not use experience points he gained to improve his level either.
Everything is saved up and he would jump up the levels after he reached the fifth floor. This is because he can only improve his stats through hard work at the first 10 stat points. That would be done basically for any hard working person that spent time properly in the dungeon.
After all completing the fifth floor one should have spent at least 15 days in all 5 floors. If he did not increase his stats or level during this time he is fighting desperately. At the same time the exercise yields 100 times more.
Naturally it would be equal to training something for 1500 days straight. That would make any normal person well trained. It is no different than training for nearly 5 years straight. That is the benefit one can get when holding back the improvement of their level.
Visva is doing that. Also fighting in slow motion that is how he is fighting the goblin is a good thing. He can learn to read the moves of the goblin and learn to dodge when required which improves his sense and agility more.
These things can only be learnt in live fighting and Visva is doing the life fighting using his past lives experiences and other things together. Robert that saw the fighting of Visva thought that Visva is new and clumsy.
But he was not that disappointed. Soon he turned the tide and quickly wanted to kill the goblin. But suddenly Visva pushed the metal spear into the body of one goblin and he actually used force charge and he pinned two goblins at the same time because they are side by side.
Because of the charge before, Visva was able to pierce the body of the second goblin and force them all the way to the wall on the side completely pinning them. Robert was stunned for a moment but understood what is happening.
(He did a blind charge and he got 1+1 offer here. well there is no problem with It. he can be kept in the team for use.) Robert thought in his heart. Visva sighed and he looked back at Robert and said with a tone feeling embarrassed.
"Sorry, I got your goblin accidentally. I was charging at my goblin but it moved to the side making me accidentally pierce your goblin as well." Visva said making Robert not to think too wildly about this situation.
Visva took the two sacks of dungeon coins and gave one to Robert because it should belong to him. Robert felt that it is not bad and felt that Visva can be trusted and slightly stupid. After all Visva gave him the dungeon coins for the monster he hunted.
