Chapter-36: kind help can move the hearts of a hypocrite

But he did not let down his caution. What if there is a bear trap inside. So he plunged the steel spear into the box and there is a "Clung" sound before Visva pulled out. The steel spear was successfully dented at some locations because of the strong force of the bear trap.
Visva sighed and put his hand in to the box to check this time he found some good things inside. He put them into his space and replaced them with a pack of bread and some water again. He took it out under the eyes of the fallen man that is breathing heavily with many injuries.
Visva looked at him and took the things to him and said. "I have saved your life so I will take the dungeon coins and other things. Now I will carry you to the stairs so that your injuries will heal when you go back to earth.
Choose well before entering the dungeon again. It is dangerous here if you are not luck human heart is more dangerous and you might die sooner or later." After speaking Visva carried the injured man to the stairs and slowly let him fall on it before letting him go.
He crawled down slowly and only uttered one word before disappearing "Thanks…" Visva sighed and went to check out other rooms. As he turned around he saw Robert and Aisha standing at the entrance of the room where Aisha should come, watching Visva.
Visva did not look at them but went to check out other rooms. Naturally Visva's action of saving others hit the two people hard. Robert felt that he just missed a capable man. Well human heart is tested when the other person is vulnerable.
Visva did not take advantage of the other to rob him instead he let him return back smoothly and even helped him. This is a great act of kindness. Visva can do this indicating that Visva is a good natured person, at least for now.
Aisha on the other hand became more interested in Visva. Being hypocritical person that can cheat others and even lie to them with open eyes, she knows the value of a man that can actually trusted with life.
She felt that she lost someone that could become her true companion. Well she still has to see him perform before making the choice. After all it is not easy to survive in this place and he might just die early as well.
So she did not show her concern towards him at this moment. Visva knows what they are thinking based on their facial expressions and inner thoughts. But he did not care and he vanished into one of those rooms.
He saw that most people have already cleared the monsters on their side and they are more or less injured. They did not bother to pay attention to Visva at this moment. They are more interested in getting to the stairs to heal their injuries.
Once they become strong they would think about partner ships. For now they are wary of each other as they slipped towards the stairs in defensive postures. Among the 8 people on this floor, Visva, Robert, Aisha is fine, Jeff died, and the injured man was saved by Visva.
