A massive tsunami wave crashes toward Marineford…
and riding on top of it is a pirate ship flung into the sky by Whitebeard himself.
Marines stare in shock as the ship smashes into the plaza.
Out of the rubble bursts Luffy, bruised, poisoned, exhausted —
but still standing.
Luffy shouts with everything he has:
> "I'M HERE TO SAVE ACE!"
The entire battlefield freezes for a moment.

Sans and Papyrus Enter the War
Right beside him, Sans steps forward, hoodie torn, eye glowing faintly.
Sans:
"i'm here for ace too."
His voice is calm, but the battlefield feels heavier —
even Vice Admirals notice the shift.
Papyrus leaps down dramatically, landing with a heroic pose.
Papyrus:
"ACE! DO NOT FEAR!
FOR THE GREAT PAPYRUS HAS ARRIVED TO SAVE YOU!"
Everyone — Marines, pirates, even Whitebeard's commanders —
stare at the skeleton duo in total confusion.

Marineford Reacts
Vice Admiral Momonga:
"Who… are those skeletons?!"
A random Marine shakes.
"Sir, I think they're with Straw Hat!"
Whitebeard glances over.
"Straw Hat brought some strange ones this time…"
Crocodile smirks behind them.
"Those two bones might actually be useful."
Jinbe smiles calmly.
"Let us fight with everything we have."
Buggy screams.
"WHY ARE WE STILL HERE!?"

Luffy Rushes Forward
Luffy leaps straight into the battlefield, punching through Marines.
Sans teleports beside him, firing small blasters.
Papyrus summons bone platforms for the pirates to cross the battlefield.
Luffy:
"I'm coming, Ace!"
Sans:
"hang on. we're close."
Papyrus:
"ACE! WE SHALL RESCUE YOU WITH HONOR, PASSION,
AND VERY LARGE BONES!"
The war for Ace officially begins.
Screen 2 — Sans & Papyrus vs. 1500 Marines
As Luffy charges forward toward the execution platform,
a massive wave of 1,500 Marine soldiers rushes in to stop him.
Cannons fire.
Blades swing.
The plaza shakes under the army's march.
A Marine screams:
"STOP STRAW HAT AND HIS ALLIES!"
Papyrus gasps dramatically.
"BROTHER! THEY ARE TOO MANY!"
Sans cracks his neck calmly.
"nah. we got this."

Papyrus Leads the Charge
Papyrus leaps forward, landing in front of the Marine army with heroic flair.
Papyrus:
"BEHOLD! THE GREAT PAPYRUS SHALL FACE YOU ALL!"
The Marines hesitate —
they've never seen a talking skeleton charging at them.
Papyrus slams his hands down.
A giant wall of bones erupts from the ground, blocking the first wave.
He then swings massive bone clubs to scatter soldiers like bowling pins.
A Marine yells:
"He's building a fortress out of bones!!"
Papyrus:
"CORRECT! AND YOU SHALL NOT PASS IT!"

Sans Cleans Up the Rest
While Papyrus distracts half the Marine army,
Sans teleports into the center of the battlefield.
Sans:
"your mistake was fighting us at the same time."
He snaps his fingers.
Blue soul energy lifts dozens of Marines into the air, suspending them harmlessly.
More charge forward —
Sans dodges lazily, sliding between them, firing controlled Gaster blaster shots that knock them off their feet without going too far.
A Commander shouts:
"HE'S MOVE— WAIT, WHERE DID HE GO?!"
Sans appears behind him.
"right here."
The Marine army collapses in waves as he targets their weak points.

The Battlefield Responds
Even Whitebeard pauses to watch.
Whitebeard:
"These skeletons… they fight well."
Marco whistles.
"Those two are crazy strong."
Aokiji raises an eyebrow.
"…interesting."
Buggy hides behind a rock.
"HOW ARE THEY THIS STRONG!?"

Papyrus slams a giant bone bridge down to clear a path.
Papyrus:
"LUFFY! THE WAY IS OPEN!"
Sans stands beside him, hands in pockets.
Sans:
"go. we'll handle the crowd."
Luffy flashes a grin.
"Thanks! I'm going!"
He launches upward toward Ace.
Behind him,
Sans and Papyrus hold off all 1,500 Marines,
protecting the crew and clearing the battlefield.
Screen 3 — Ace's Fate
Luffy pushes through Marineford like a storm, fighting until his body can barely stand.
Jinbe carries him when he stumbles.
Ivankov clears paths with blasts of power.
Whitebeard's commanders protect him at every turn.
Everyone has the same goal:
Reach Ace.

The Rescue
Luffy climbs the execution platform with every last bit of strength he has left.
Mr. 3 appears behind him with a shaky grin.
Mr. 3:
"Don't worry, Straw Hat! I brought wax keys!"
Mr. 3's wax binds crack and break Ace's seastone cuffs.
Ace is finally free.
Luffy and Ace stand side by side for the first time in years, smiling like kids again.
Ace:
"You really came for me… thank you, little brother."
Luffy, grinning:
"Of course I did!"
Sans and Papyrus cheer wildly from the battlefield.
Papyrus:
"YES!! FAMILY REUNITED!"
Sans:
"told you we'd get him."

The brothers run together, protecting each other as Marines close in from all directions.
For a moment — a brief, shining moment — it looks like they've escaped.

Akainu's Provocation
Admiral Akainu steps forward through the chaos, voice cold and sharp.
Akainu:
"Whitebeard was a failure.
His whole era was a mistake."
Ace stops.
Luffy grabs his wrist.
"Ace! Forget him! Let's go!"
Sans teleports toward them, worried.
"ace, don't listen to him—"
Papyrus shouts,
"ACE! DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRASH-TALK!"
But Ace turns back, unable to ignore an insult to the man who raised him.
Ace:
"Whitebeard was a great man!"
He stands his ground.

The Strike
Akainu attacks with blazing power.
Sans tries to intercept, but a Pacifista blocks him and sends him crashing into the plaza.
Papyrus races forward, but he's too far.
Luffy reaches out, screaming for Ace.
The impact strikes Ace in the chest —
no gore, no detail, just a heavy, painful blow that knocks the life from his body.
Ace collapses into Luffy's arms.

Ace smiles softly, tears falling like crushed tomatoes down his side.
Ace:

Luffy shakes, unable to speak.
Papyrus covers his face, overwhelmed.

Ace's hand falls.
The battlefield falls silent.
The brother Luffy came to save is gone.
Screen 5 — Sans and Papyrus React to Ace's Death
The battlefield falls silent.
Luffy collapses, screaming Ace's name.
Jinbe grabs him before he hits the ground, holding him tight.
Sans and Papyrus freeze in place — stunned.
Papyrus drops to his knees, hands shaking.
Papyrus:
"ACE… NO… WE WERE TOO LATE… I… I COULDN'T HELP…"
Sans stands still with his head down, the glow in his eye fading.
Sans:
"…i'm sorry, kid.
we couldn't stop it."
For the first time in the One Piece world,
Sans and Papyrus feel truly powerless.
They fought 1500 Marines.
They survived Impel Down.
They helped Luffy reach the platform.
But they couldn't reach Ace in time.
Sans mutters quietly:
"…i should've been faster."
Papyrus clenches his fists.
"WE WILL NOT LET THIS BE FOR NOTHING!
ACE WAS A HERO!"

Whitebeard roars, grief crashing through him like thunder.
He unleashes his full strength —

Papyrus nods emotionally.

Whitebeard stands alone against the Marines, Admirals, and even Blackbeard's ambush.
Bruised, battered, surrounded…
…but still standing.
With a final burst of pride, he shouts:
> "THE ONE PIECE… IS REAL!"
The entire world freezes at his voice.

Whitebeard dies standing, never falling —
a symbol of what a true pirate is.
Blackbeard steps forward, steals Whitebeard's power,
and declares himself a new monster of the era.
Papyrus growls through clenched teeth:

The entire battlefield stops.

Blackbeard flees.

Ace is gone.
Whitebeard is gone.
The old era ends.
A new, unstable world begins.
And Sans and Papyrus, still heartbroken but standing strong, follow Jinbe to protect their captain…
