The night was deep In darkness, Donald helped Grace down the stares of the hospital.
"You know you don't have to go through this," Grace muttered, "I can walk by myself."
Donald focused on the stairs making sure she doesn't miss a step.
"Don't be ridiculous," He began, "You obviously can't walk on your own, you need support."
"I don't need support, that why I refused to use the wheel chair, come on now, Donald." She said as she stared at Donald's face
"Grace you just survived something major, I'm not joking when I said you aren't leaving my side, ever again." Donald didn't take his eyes off the step.
"Fine, Donald Cole." She chuckled.
"Slow down," he said gently. "You just got cleared today."
Grace smiled faintly. "I'm fine, Donald."
"No, you're not," he murmured, and before she could argue, he took the small bag from her and placed a hand on her back, guiding her toward the door.
The nurse at the desk smiled as they passed. "Take your medication on time, Miss Grace."
