Episode 14 (Some Truth Revealed)
The sky was still covered in dark clouds, and the rain poured endlessly, striking the asphalt as if trying to wash the city of its sorrows.
Thunder echoed above, and lightning flashed across the sky, illuminating the gray world for a brief moment before plunging it back into shadow.
The camera moved slowly through the streets until it captured the friends' faces—drenched beneath their small umbrellas.
Hina (in a tired voice, trying to hide her worry):
> Okay… where do we even find Ren?
Kai exhales softly, raindrops dripping from his hair onto his jacket:
> Even I don't know…
Yui pulls her coat tighter around her chest, glancing around:
> Umm… where does he even live?
Taki shrugs lightly:
> Let's ask around again… though it didn't help last time.
Mika puts a hand on her chin, thinking:
> Why don't we split up into pairs and look for anything related to Ren?
Everyone looks at each other and nods in agreement.
> Right… let's try that.
Lightning flashes suddenly across the sky, and the wind surges, pushing each of them toward a different path.
Hina and Mika head toward the bridge, while Kai, Yui, and Taki go toward the restaurant Kai mentioned.
The camera follows Hina and Mika as they hurry along the wet sidewalks.
The sound of rain overpowers everything. Hina shouts to the passersby:
> Excuse me! Do you know someone named Ren?
Ma'am! Do you know Ren?
The lady turns with a gentle smile:
> Sorry, I don't know anyone by that name.
Hina lowers her head slightly, but her eyes sparkle as she spots someone emerging from under the bridge, wearing clothes that look just like Ren's.
> Haa! We found him!
Mika quickly grabs her arm:
> Wait, Hina… that's not Ren.
Hina: What? How? It has to be him!
Mika: No, look over there… the one sitting on the steps between the buildings—that's the real Ren.
Hina (in shock): You're right! But… what's he doing there?
Mika: We need to tell the others, now!
Hina pulls out her phone quickly and types a message:
> Kai! We found Ren!
The camera cuts to Kai, Yui, and Taki, who have just arrived at the restaurant.
Taki: I didn't find anyone who knows about him.
Yui: The nearby shops didn't recognize him either.
Kai climbs the stairs toward the apartment above the restaurant and asks the landlord:
> Sir, do you know Ren? He lives here, right?
Landlord: Ren? Ah, that boy… no, he hasn't lived here for a month now.
Kai's eyes widen in shock, his thoughts racing:
> A month? Then… where has he been living?
He walks down slowly, rain hammering against the glass door behind him.
Yui (worried): Kai, what's wrong?
Kai: Ren… hasn't lived here for a month.
A heavy silence falls before all their phones vibrate at once—
A message from Hina:
> We found him by the bridge!
The three of them run through the intensifying storm.
Lightning flashes across their faces for a brief second before the darkness swallows them again.
The camera cuts back to Hina and Mika, standing under the bridge.
Mika: Hina, you have to see this—now.
Hina: What is it?
Hina walks down the stairs slowly, each step echoing faintly in the damp air.
The camera zooms in—
A piece of cardboard spread on the ground.
Ren's bag leaning against the wall.
Drawings all over the wall—dark sketches of death, suicide, and despair.
Hina's face freezes, raindrops running down her cheek like tears.
She covers her mouth, her voice trembling:
> Ren… don't tell me you've been living here…
Mika places a hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her, though her own eyes are filled with tears.
Just then, Kai, Taki, and Yui arrive, running into the scene.
Kai: Mika! What happened?!
Mika: See for yourself…
Kai looks inside, goes silent for a moment, then slams his fist against the wall.
> Ren… why didn't you tell us anything?!
Outside, thunder roars, and the rain turns into a flood.
Mika (shouting): I saw him there! Between the barbershop and the supermarket!
Kai runs with all his strength toward the alley, Yui and Taki right behind him.
Their footsteps splash through the puddles, the camera shaking as their breaths quicken.
Suddenly, Kai stops—his foot hits something.
He looks down…
Ren lies on the ground, his face red, his clothes completely soaked, his body trembling.
Yui screams in fear and steps back; Taki freezes.
Hina and Mika arrive seconds later. Yui rushes into Hina's arms, sobbing.
Kai drops to his knees and lifts Ren by the arms:
> Hold on, Ren! Don't fall asleep!
Taki helps him lift Ren as Hina's father's car pulls up nearby.
Everyone runs through the pouring rain, the sound of tires mixing with thunder.
The camera captures their faces—drenched, terrified, guilty.
The scene fades out at the door of Hina's house—
Ren unconscious in Kai's arms—
as the narrator's calm voice echoes:
> "Sometimes… we don't realize how much pain hides behind someone's smile—until the rain finally reaches their heart."

السماء ما زالت ملبدة بالغيوم السوداء، والمطر يهطل بلا توقف، يضرب الأسفلت بقوة كأنه يريد أن يغسل المدينة من أحزانها. الرعد يعلو في السماء فيشعّ الضوء للحظة ثم تختفي الألوان تحت ظلال الرماد.
الكاميرا تتحرك ببطء بين الشوارع، حتى تلتقط وجوه الأصدقاء الغارقة تحت مظلاتهم الصغيرة.
هينا بصوت متعب لكنها تحاول إخفاء قلقها:
> حسناً... أين سنجد رين؟
كاي يزفر بخفة، قطرات المطر تتساقط من شعره على سترته:
> حتى أنا لا أعرف...
يوي تضم معطفها إلى صدرها وهي تنظر حولها:
> أممم... أين يعيش أصلاً؟
تاكي يهز كتفيه بخفة:
> لنسأل الناس عنه... رغم أن هذا لم ينفع المرة الماضية.
ميكا تضع يدها على ذقنها ثم تقول:
> لماذا لا نفترق إلى ثنائيين ونبحث عن أي شيء يتعلق برين؟
الجميع ينظر لبعضهم ويهزون رؤوسهم بالموافقة.
> صحيح... لنجرب.
البرق يومض في السماء فجأة، والريح تندفع بقوة كأنها تدفعهم كلٌ إلى طريقه.
هينا وميكا يتوجهان نحو الجسر، بينما كاي ويوي وتاكي يتجهون إلى المطعم الذي ذكره كاي.
الكاميرا تتابع هينا وميكا بخطواتهما السريعة فوق الأرصفة المبللة.
صوت المطر يعلو فوق كل شيء، وهينا تصرخ على المارة:
> عذراً، هل هناك من يعرف رين؟
سيدتي! هل تعرفين رين؟
السيدة تلتفت مبتسمة بلطف:
> آسفة، لا أعرف أحداً بهذا الاسم.
تخفض هينا رأسها قليلاً، ثم يلمع بريق في عينيها عندما ترى شخصاً يخرج من تحت الجسر، يرتدي ملابس تشبه رين.
> هااا! لقد وجدنا رين!
ميكا تمسك بذراعها بسرعة:
> انتظري يا هينا... إنه ليس رين.
> ماذا؟ كيف؟ إنه هو بالتأكيد!
> لا، انظري هناك... الشخص الذي يجلس على الدرج بين المباني، هذا هو رين الحقيقي.
> (بدهشة) صحيح! لكن... ماذا يفعل هناك؟
> علينا أن نخبر الآخرين حالاً!
تخرج هينا هاتفها بسرعة وترسل رسالة إلى كاي:
> كاي! لقد وجدنا رين!
الكاميرا تنتقل إلى كاي ويوي وتاكي الذين وصلوا إلى المطعم.
> تاكي: لم أجد أحد يعرف عنه شيئاً.
يوي: المتاجر المجاورة لم تتعرف عليه أيضاً.
كاي يصعد الدرج نحو الشقة فوق المطعم ويسأل مالكها:
> سيدي، هل تعرف رين؟ إنه يسكن هنا، أليس كذلك؟
> المالك: رين؟ آه، ذلك الشاب... لا، لم يعد يسكن هنا منذ شهر.
تتسع عينا كاي بذهول، ويقول في نفسه:
> منذ شهر؟ أين كان يعيش إذاً؟
ينزل بخطوات بطيئة، المطر يضرب زجاج الباب خلفه.
يوي تسأله بقلق:
> كاي، ما الأمر؟
> رين... لم يعش هنا منذ شهر...
صمت ثقيل يخيم على المكان قبل أن تهتز هواتفهم برسالة من هينا:
> وجدناه عند الجسر!
يركض الثلاثة وسط المطر المتزايد.
البرق يضيء وجوههم للحظة، ثم يبتلعهم الظلام مجدداً.
الكاميرا تعود إلى هينا وميكا تحت الجسر.
> ميكا: هينا، عليك أن تري هذا فوراً.
هينا: ماذا هناك؟
تهبط هينا الدرج بخطوات بطيئة، وكل خطوة تُصدر صدى مكتومًا في المكان الرطب.
الكاميرا تقترب ببطء لتظهر المشهد...
كرتونة مفروشة على الأرض.
حقيبة رين موضوعة بجانب الحائط.
رسومات كثيرة على الجدار، كلها مظلمة، تحكي عن الموت، الانتحار، والخذلان.
وجه هينا يتجمد، قطرات المطر تسقط على خدها كأنها دموع.
تضع يدها على فمها، وصوتها يرتجف:
> رين... لا تخبرني أنك كنت تعيش هنا...
ميكا تمسك بكتفها، تحاول تهدئتها، لكن عيناها ممتلئتان بالدموع أيضاً.
يصل كاي و تاكي و يوي للحظة ذاتها، يركض كاي نحو الداخل.
> كاي: ميكا! ماذا حصل؟!
ميكا: انظر بنفسك...
ينظر كاي في الداخل، يتوقف للحظة، ثم يضرب الحائط بقبضته:
> رين... لماذا لم تخبرنا بشيء؟
في الخارج، الرعد يهدر، والمطر يتحول إلى شلال.
> ميكا تصرخ: رأيته هناك! بين محل الحلاقة والسوبرماركت!
كاي يركض بكل قوته نحو الممر، وتتبعه يوي وتاكي.
تتسارع خطواتهم، الكاميرا تهتز، الأصوات تتداخل مع أنفاسهم.
فجأة، تتوقف قدم كاي بعد أن اصطدمت بشيء.
ينظر للأسفل...
رين ملقى على الأرض، وجهه محمر، ملابسه مبللة بالكامل، وجسده يرتجف.
يوي تصرخ بخوف وتتراجع، تاكي يتجمد في مكانه.
تصل هينا وميكا، وتركض يوي نحو هينا وتبكي وهي تحضنها.
كاي ينزل على ركبتيه ويحمل رين من ذراعيه:
> تمسك، رين! لا تنم!
تاكي يساعده على رفعه، بينما والد هينا يصل بالسيارة.
يركض الجميع تحت المطر، أصوات العجلات تختلط بصوت الرعد.
الكاميرا تلتقط وجوههم الغارقة في المطر، وكل وجه يحمل خوفًا وذنبًا مختلفًا.
ينتهي المشهد عند باب منزل هينا،
رين فاقد الوعي بين أذرع كاي،
وصوت الراوي الهادئ يقول:
> "أحيانًا... لا نعلم كم الألم يختبئ خلف ابتسامة أحدهم، حتى يبتلّ قلبه بالمطر."
