Black Zetsu noticed something was wrong with Kaguya's expression.
But fearing Naruto's terrifying strength, he hesitated before asking:
"M-My lord… What are you doing? Why does Mother look like she's in pain?"
Naruto didn't even glance back, continuing to absorb her energy.
"Relax. Totally normal."
Black Zetsu narrowed his eyes with suspicion.
"M-My lord, perhaps you should stop for a moment… let Mother rest."
Naruto's eyes grew impatient. He casually backhanded Black Zetsu—
Sending him flying like a meteor down into the Shinobi World.
"You… lied to me?"
Kaguya's voice was weak, her body feeling more and more hollow.
But even more than losing her power, she seemed hurt that Naruto had deceived her.
"Congratulations, host. You've obtained 9 more Six Paths-level draws.
Current total draws: 14."
Her already pale face turned even whiter from the energy drain.
Naruto retracted his hand and patted her head gently.
"Of course not. I said I'd free you, didn't I?"
Kaguya's gaze turned dazed, skeptical:
"Really…?"
She looked nothing like a thousand-year-old being—more like a clueless college girl.
Naruto answered with action:
Activating Kamui, he sent all the black chains binding her into the Kamui dimension.
After over a millennium, Kaguya was finally free.
The price: her combat power had been drained to near zero.
"Congratulations. You're free now," Naruto said, turning to leave.
But Kaguya quickly grabbed the hem of his clothes.
"W-Wait! Where are you going?
Can you… take me with you…?"
Having lost nearly all her strength, Kaguya now acted like a helpless maiden.
Part of it was genuine fear—
After all, she had betrayed Isshiki Ōtsutsuki to obtain the Chakra Fruit.
Even at her peak, she had feared the Ōtsutsuki clan would come for revenge—
Let alone now, at her weakest.
The only person she could rely on… was the young man who had freed her.
Even if he didn't seem particularly trustworthy, she had no other choice.
Naruto paused. Her tug reminded him—
Right, I still haven't taken her ocular powers and special abilities yet.
Amenominaka, Yomotsu Hirasaka, All-Killing Ash Bones—
They were all incredibly powerful.
He glanced at Kaguya's forehead.
Still sealed shut—
Her third eye, the Rinne-Sharingan, lay hidden beneath.
Sensing his silence, Kaguya's voice became a little pleading:
"As long as you protect me… I'll do anything.
I also know ways for you to become even stronger…"
It was clear—she really valued her life.
Naruto extended his hand:
"Fine. Give me your Rinne-Sharingan, and I'll protect you."
Kaguya raised a hand to her forehead, hesitating.
That eye… was her final trump card.
But quickly, she realized—
Even if she refused, Naruto could still take it by force.
Better to give it willingly and leave a good impression.
Without further delay, Kaguya took out her crimson third eye and placed it in Naruto's hand.
The eye was much larger than an ordinary eye.
Naruto examined it briefly—
Then activated his Tenseigan's absorption power and devoured it.
His eye power level instantly rose to a whole new tier.
He also gained several powerful ocular techniques:
Amenominaka – Grants six pocket dimensions similar to Kamui's space. The user can freely shift between them or pull enemies in. Within these realms, the user can manipulate the laws of nature.
Yomotsu Hirasaka – Opens a dimensional rift for long-range teleportation.
All-Killing Ash Bones – Fires bones that disintegrate anything they hit.
Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack – Focuses all chakra into countless invisible chakra fists.
Stronger than Night Guy, and can easily shatter Truth-Seeking Orbs.
Naruto smiled, pleased with the boost.
Meanwhile, Kaguya felt even more insecure—
She clung to Naruto's sleeve and moved closer, afraid he'd leave her floating in space.
Even though the Ōtsutsuki clan could survive in space—
Kaguya hated the cold, lonely dark void. It terrified her.
Naruto, true to his word, had gotten what he wanted and Kaguya was now begging to follow him.
Protecting her was no trouble.
But remembering that Kaguya had once betrayed Isshiki—
And her puppet Black Zetsu had backstabbed Madara—
He decided to be careful.
Naruto leaned in—
Their faces almost touching.
Kaguya gasped, thinking he was about to kiss her—
She even puckered her lips in preparation.
But instead…
Naruto cast Kotoamatsukami on her.
The implanted command was simple:
"No matter what, you will always be loyal to me.
You will never betray me."
Kaguya blinked—
As the genjutsu settled in, her prior anxiety vanished.
She now stood calmly by Naruto's side, fully at ease.
Naruto brought her back to Konoha.
But the Shinobi World—
Was already in chaos.
Across the continent, countless spirits had appeared overnight—
And the number was still growing.
These souls couldn't harm others directly—
But they could possess normal civilians!
Naruto and Kaguya floated above Konoha.
Below, the village was in turmoil.
Some shinobi were fighting villagers possessed by angry ghosts.
Naruto frowned.
"Could it be…
Because I eliminated the Sage of Six Paths, who managed the Pure Land…
That it's now falling apart?"
That was exactly what happened.
With the Sage dead, the Pure Land lost control.
Though not completely collapsed, it had developed cracks between realms—
And through them, spirits were escaping.
Worse still—
The spirits breaking free were the souls of strong ninja.
The entire world was plunging into a war between the living and the dead.
One battlefield drew Naruto's attention.
Shikamaru, Chōji, and Ino were fighting three possessed villagers.
Judging by their strength, the spirits were probably elite jōnin in life.
Among the trio, Ino—who had been personally trained by Naruto—was the core fighter.
Her mental attacks were especially effective against spirits.
Without her holding the line, Shikamaru and Chōji would've been in trouble.
Naruto flashed forward—
Instantly appearing before them.
He waved his hand—
And the three enemies were instantly obliterated.
"Naruto! You're back!" Ino beamed, rushing over to his side.
But behind her—
Shikamaru and Chōji looked at Naruto with complicated expressions.
The look on their faces—
Said they didn't know how to face him anymore.
