Chapter 165 - Chapter 165: It’s Quite Sudden! (2/8)

Aurora thought for a moment before speaking. "I've never heard of any missile-type special item with that kind of destructive power.

But, Shura, if your goal is to destroy the Chitauri's mothership, I do have something that might help. It's called Crush and Dissolve. It's a liquid-based special item. According to the system's description, it's extremely powerful—capable of dissolving objects with a volume of over one million tons."

(Note: For reference, an aircraft carrier typically weighs only tens of thousands of tons!)

Aurora continued, "However, using it is a bit tricky. You must physically make contact with the target to activate it. The dissolution effect radiates outward, evaporating everything within its range.

In other words, if the Chitauri mothership is enormous, you'd need to reach the ship's core to ensure complete destruction."

Fenric's eyes lit up. "Yes. That's exactly what I need!"

"Alright then. I'll head to the trading center later and give it to you."

"Then I won't be polite about accepting it," Fenric replied with a faint smile.

Aurora chuckled. "This is how it should be. Honestly, we owe you far too much already."

She paused, then added in a serious tone, "But, Shura, I have to warn you. Once you use Crush and Dissolve, the volatilization speed is extremely fast. You'll need to escape immediately, or you'll be caught in the destructive range."

"Got it," Fenric nodded.

Aurora's expression turned solemn. "One more thing. The Avengers dungeon is far more dangerous than One Piece. In the world of The Avengers, there are actual gods. You must be careful."

Fenric nodded again. Of course, he knew.

He was all too familiar with the Marvel universe and its terrifying powerhouses. Even Earth alone was filled with unpredictable dangers.

The Sorcerer Supreme alone is terrifying… he thought.

"Alright, let's head to the trading center," Fenric suggested.

"Good," Aurora agreed.

The three of them made their way to the trading center.

Fenric first traded with Aurora and obtained Crush and Dissolve.

Special Item: Crush and Dissolve

A failed creation of a god-tier alchemist. Upon contact, it can dissolve an object with at least a one-kilometer radius and millions of tons in volume. Extremely dangerous—handle with caution.

Note:One-time use. Cannot be restored after activation.

The liquid inside the glass test tube was a deep crimson, like blood.

Fenric accepted it carefully from Aurora, fully aware of its destructive potential.

Suddenly, he asked with curiosity, "What would happen if I used this thing here in Samsara space?"

Aurora blinked, then let out a laugh. "Don't even think about it. I once wondered the same thing.

But I'm guessing Samsara space wouldn't be affected. I heard about someone who once used an indestructible weapon to attack the buildings here. The result? The buildings didn't even get scratched—there wasn't so much as a chipped corner."

"Good. That's reassuring."

"You two," Belle interrupted with a teasing smile, "aren't you focusing on the wrong thing here?"

She pulled out the rewards she had promised Fenric. "Shura, here are the special items I got this time."

She handed over a golden treasure chest and a retro-style long dress—the Flowing Cloud Skirt.

Fenric immediately waved his hand. "Belle, just give me the golden treasure chest. I don't need the skirt."

A skirt? For me? What am I, some noble lady?

Sorry—no way Fenric was wearing that!

"Shura, don't underestimate it," Belle reminded him. "The skirt provides a 30% damage reduction. It's actually a top-tier defensive item."

"Doesn't matter how good it is—it's still a skirt. I'm a man. Do you really want me to charge into battle wearing this thing?"

Belle and Aurora both burst into laughter at his reaction.

Fenric sighed. "You should keep it."

"Then I'll happily accept this reward," Belle said with a bright smile.

She really liked the dress, and Fenric's refusal made it even easier for her to accept.

The two then traded the golden treasure chest.

Fenric now had two golden treasure chests stored in his personal warehouse.

"Shura, wait here. The friend who's bringing the dungeon refresh cards will arrive soon," Aurora said.

"Alright."

Before long, a tall, muscular young woman entered the trading center.

"Sister Aurora, which one of you is the famous genius Shura?" she asked with an energetic grin.

Fenric instinctively took a step back.

By the time he left the trading center, it was already 3:30 a.m.

He still had time before the next dungeon challenge, so after saying goodbye to Aurora and Belle, he returned to his personal warehouse.

Fenric was eager to open the golden treasure chest.

"Congratulations! You've opened a Golden Treasure Chest and obtained the special item: Ark Ferry Ticket."

Fenric froze, staring at the ticket in disbelief.

Seriously?

"Damn it, what am I supposed to do with this? The 2012 dungeon is already cleared. This thing is useless to me now!"

He almost wanted to curse out loud.

A golden treasure chest… and I get this?

Fenric picked up the Ark Ferry Ticket.

The system chimed again:

Special Item: Ark Ferry Ticket

Upon use, instantly teleports you to the safest location. If used in the 2012 dungeon, it immediately transfers you to the Ark.

Note:One-time use. Cannot be restored once activated.

Reminder:This item can be recycled for approximately 65,000 Samsara Points.

"!!"

Fenric was stunned.

A ferry ticket is worth 65,000 points?

Actually, this item was powerful. Anyone attempting the 2012 dungeon could secure an SSS rating simply by holding this ticket.

However, after a brief pause, Fenric made up his mind. "System, recycle it."

It wasn't worth selling or transferring.

First, it would be troublesome.

Second, he didn't want other Samsaras learning about the Ark in the 2012 dungeon.

"Special item recycled. Samsara Player 'Shura,' you've gained 65,000 Samsara Points."
