"So… the head was blown off its body?" Taeryn asked, biting into the last piece of doughnut in his hand.
Rihan's lips curled as he pulled open the dishwasher and stared at the clean plates. "Yes. It was brutal."
"Sounds disgusting. Were the brains all over the place?" Taeryn asked.
He jumped off the counter, washed his hands in the sink, and started pulling out plates with Rihan, placing them where they belonged.
"Mhmm." Rihan watched him. Mostly the smear of vanilla icing at the corner of his lips. "It's annoying that the case was taken away from me."
"Chaebols are annoying. It's probably illegal shit, rivals trying to wipe each other out, and this Haejin guy doesn't want you involved," Taeryn said.
When he set the last plate down, Rihan slid the dishwasher closed and turned to him. Taeryn went back to the counter and hopped up to sit on it again.
Rihan walked over, settling between his legs. Taeryn wore a baggy white tank that exposed his muscled arms and black sweatpants.
