The light shone on her face, the pool glistening as it stayed still. The room was ocean blue as she traced her fingers softly against the wall. It was quiet.
So peaceful.
She slid into the water with her eyes closed...once opened, felt her entire body shiver. The water felt intense, slowly it swallowed her, to the point where she easily could drown.
No matter how she may resist, her efforts were for nothing.
She screamed.
Her voice echoed.
"Help me! Somebody please!"
Nobody came. Nobody helped. It was nothing new. With a jolt, she opened her eyes to see that the water lied still.
No longer did it resemble the ocean, but rather a black hole. The darkness slowly consumed her...her voice nothing but a void...she needed someone. She was losing her mind.
Blue and not black, beautiful and not. Without hesitating, she got out of the pool, hurriedly. Her body uncontrollably shaking. Her lips trembled, her teeth connecting with each other, creating a noise.
She cried.
A hot tear falling down her cold cheek. Once year turned into a whole river. "I- I need you! Where are you?" She cried out.
All she could see was Ace and his smile. His eyes sparkled and she reached out to touch him.
Just to feel his skin again and play with his hair.
One more time.
Just one last time.
But her fingertips touched air.
A tear rolled down her cheeks.
"Please come, please. I'm begging you," She closed her eyes like if she'd open them, a human would magically be there. Comforting her.
But there was no one.
Her heart shattered.
Her best friend was gone.
There's nothing more he enjoyed than life and now that was also taken away from him. He was never coming back.
Not even to hug her.
And that's what hurt the most.
