In a near by clearing a disheveled man jolted awake and sat up, observing his surroundings to recall what happened before he fell asleep at the road side.
He then recalled, he got drunk and accidentally passed out.
Suddenly his eyes widened in realising where he was, he quickly checked his body and sighed in relief.
'Fortunately no one came to steal from me, or it would've been troublesome.' He thought.
He slowly stood up and went to the inn he rented to freshen up before having breakfast.
"Weird, why do i feel like i haven't eaten anything in ages?" He wondered aloud.
"No matter, I'll just order more." He dismissed the thought and started eating like a starving beast and kept ordering until the staff complained about the end of ingredients.
Still unsatisfied, he payed the bill and left the inn, not noticing the fact he payed way more than normal of the bill which clearly included the billing of his 9 month stay and walked to a nearby restaurent and started ordering again.
Its only after emptying half the inventory of the restaurant did he stop, satisfied.
He payed the bill and left shortly after, in the increasingly fawning restaurant owner's enthusiastic gaze.
"Please visit us again, valued customer." He heard the owner shout, making a faint smile lit his face.
'Hm, now that I'm full, I should finally go and meet that grand Master Yu Xiaogong. Xiao San is probably preparing to leave home to see me right now, its the perfect opportunity.' He thought.
He took out a new hood to cover himself with and quickly made his way to the Notting Academy.
Once he reached the academy he quickly discussed Yu Xiaogong's whereabouts and reached it without anyone noticing.
He knocked on the door a free rubbed and waited for the door to open.
Yu Xiaogong who was still feeling weak and resting, thinking it was Tang San spoke up.
"Xiao San, the door is unlocked just come inside."
Tang Hao felt amused at the misunderstanding but didn't speak up, instead he pushed the door open and went inside and noticed Yu Xiaogong trying to sit up on the bed with difficulty.
'Hm? Is this brat weak or the poison from that Datura Snake really that powerful? It's been a while since they got back. Why is he still showing signs of weakness instead of recovery?' Tang Hao thought as he observed the man, feeling confused.
'Well it doesn't matter, I'm enough to protect Xiao San for now. I'm just here to give this guy the Spirit Hall token given to the Clear Sky Sect so he could help Xiao San with it.
And with his connection to that woman Bibi Dong, he might be able to get the method of dual cultivating of twin Martial Soul's using this token to reach her.' He mused.
Just as Tang Hao was lost in his thoughts, Yu Xiaogong feeling something is off with Xiao San, turned his head and finally noticed his presence and started at him for a long time.
'As I thought, i mistook the person who came in to be Xiao San. If its was Xiao San, he would definitely come to my aid instead of watching me struggle to sit.
But who is this person, why does he look so familiar?' Yu Xiaogong thought.
"Who are you?" He asked, seeing the man in front of him was lost in thought.
Tang Hao who heard him came out of his thoughts and looked at Yu Xiaogong in astonishment.
'Have i become that unrecognisable?' He thought in his mind.
Instead of introducing himself like a normal person, Tang Hao summoned his Martial Soul —Clear Sky Hammer out and placed it on the ground while holding it at the tip.
"Do you recognise me now?" He asked with a smug grin as he watched Yu Xiaogong's eyes widen at first then lit up with stars.
"Y-You, you are The Clear Sky Douluo, Tang Hao." Yu Xiaogong said, his voice trembling in excitement.
"I have long admired his highness, Clear Sky Douluo. What instructions do you have for me, your highness?" He asked, his voice still showing the joy of meeting his idol while cupping his hands in salute.
Tang Hao felt satisfied, seeing the man in front of him, even injured nearly growel at his feat, but thinking it's best not show off too much in front of someone you need help from, he calmed down his rising ego as he said. "There is no need for a salute, Grandmaster. You are Xiao San's teacher after all."
'As I thought, Xiao San is my idol's son. And he recognises my theory.' He thought, feeling giddy like a girl, not noticing his physical and emotional changes he nodded to Tang hao.
"I initially wanted to come and meet you after Tang San took you as his teacher but, in the end, I decided to wait until he got his first Soul Ring.
I will be watching over him but I won't be appearing in front of Xiao San for the next few years, so take care of him in my stead.
I will only appear if it's absolutely necessary, and here I'm giving you this token, use it as you see fit." Tang Hao said making Yu Xiaogong feel trusted by his idol as he accepted the token.
But before he could respond to thank the man, Tang Hao disappeared.
Just as he was puzzled about the situation, faint footsteps sounded and Tang San arrived with porridge in hand. Instantly Yu Xiaogong understood why Tang hao left abruptly and felt helpless.
'If only I had more time to talk to my idol.' He thought, feeling regretful.
