Xiao Chenyu felt nervous and jealous as he stared at the Soul Ring on Wang Sheng.

"Are you wondering how I got a 100 year Soul Ring?" Wang Sheng asked Xiao Chenyu with a smirk on his face.
Xiao Chenyu wanted to refute and make a sarcastic remark but he stopped himself, feeling if he said anything it will only add to his humiliation later.
Xiao Chenyu's cronies got incensed as they looked at the smug smile on Wang Sheng's face.
They wanted to go up and wipe that smile off his face but stopped as they gritted their teeth looking at the Soul Ring.
"It's because of Elder Li's help." Wang Sheng said, satisfied with the reactions of Xiao Chenyu and his cronies.
"If it weren't for Elder Li, I might've died in the jaws of the same Soul Beast I got my Soul Ring from.
I'm really thankful for everything he did for me and our work-study students." Wang Sheng continued.
'It's him, again. Why does he appear everywhere? First he punishes me for bullying my own servant in my own home.
Now he helps these junk of poverty. I feel suffocated staying here.
Maybe I should apply for early graduation and travel outside for a while to calm down after this.' Xiao Chenyu thought.
"Let's get this over with." Wang Sheng said and used Martial Soul possession.
"Defeat him, boss." The cronies behind Xiao Chenyu shouted.
While the group of work study students from down 7 and even the work study students from others dorms, cheered Wang Sheng excitedly.
"Hmph, so what if you have a yellow-100 year soul ring. I'll still defeat you today." Xiao Chenyu said trying to regain his confidence while using Martial Soul possession.
Both of them lunged at each other at the same time but Wang Sheng reached Xiao Chenyu a beat faster, because of his Level advantage and lightning attribute.
Xiao Chenyu, while flustered seeing Wang Sheng's speed quickly composed himself and used his first Soul Skill -Wolf Claw to intercept him.
Wang sheng's deciding to test his defence crossed his arms in front of him and took the Claw head on and slid back a few steps, but there was no damage to his body. Except for the slight ache he felt at the connected spot.
Xiao Chenyu who used the soul skill felt a pang in his hands.
'What the hell? I'm the one who used the Soul Skill and I'm the one who is feeling the pain? While Wang Sheng doesn't seem to have any damage at all?
Why is his defence so strong?' Xiao Chenyu complained in heart.
"That's it? Let me show you how a Soul Skill is really used." Wang Sheng said.
'Charging to 60% should be ok right? Any further, I think I might injure him too severely.' Wang Sheng thought as he assessed Xiao Chenyu.
Wang Sheng blitzed forward while charging his hands and shouted "Starfall Thunder Claw." and struck Xiao Chenyu's chest before he could defend himself.
Xiao Chenyu rolled back to his cronies who were a few meters away with lightning zapping his body, paralysing him while his chest ached by the blow,a trickle of blood appeared at the corner of his mouth,as he coughed.
Xiao Chenyu stood up despite the pain and looked deeply at Wang Sheng.
Oddly feeling relaxed, even though he felt defeated.
It took a few minutes before Xiao Chenyu spoke up. "You win, Wang Sheng. Should I call you Boss?"
"No, Xiao Wu is our Dorm 7's boss. I can't defeat her even now. And besides, I'm graduating tomorrow, so it's pointless to call me Boss." He replied, shaking his head while every work study student cheered for him.
Xiao Chenyu looked at Wang Sheng incredulously.
'So even if I were to stay I couldn't avenge myself in the future, huh. It's like you are only here to avenge yourself for all the times I humiliated you.
Well it's fine anyway. Maybe I will never meet him again after this day.' Xiao Chenyu thought.
"So, will you join my Father, or are you following Elder Li?" Xiao Chenyu asked as a last hope, to see if Wang Sheng will give him a chance to avenge himself in the future.
"I'm following Elder Li. He already arranged my next steps and is dealing with my graduation paperwork right now." He replied then went back to his group, who carried him back to the dorm.
Tang San who observed the fight had stars in his eyes as he felt a rush of excitement.
'So this is how Soul Skills are used. I should put more time into cultivation and get my 1st soul ring.
But it seems like Wang Sheng didn't use his full power just now. I wonder how much damage he can do aside from that paralysis effect, if he went all out.' He thought.
"You did great, Wang Sheng." Xiao Wu said as she patted his shoulder once everyone was back in the dorm.
Wang Sheng nodded while smiling like he achieved his life long dream.
"Wait, I forgot, I have to go to Martial Soul Hall to register." He said, recalling Hanrui's words and ran off, making the work study students laugh.
