"Miss Moon, I know Aiden is your fiancé now." said the breathy female voice. "But he insisted on taking me to his parents wedding anniversary banquet."
Aurora blinked. She stood at the top of a wide staircase. The woman in front of her---pretty, blonde, elegant---clutched her arm, her sharp nails digging into Aurora's skin.
"I"M SORRY, MISS MOON. DON'T PUSH ME," screamed the woman as she let go of Aurora's arm and launched herself backwards.
Aurora caught the front of the blonde's haute couture dress and swung her around. Blondie slapped Aurora's hands, screeching, while stumbling backwards ... into a big, fluffy chair.
"You did that on purpose!" yelled the ungrateful woman.
"Yes, I purposely saved your life," responded Aurora. "You're welcome."
The woman burst into crocodile tears. "You're so mean!"
