Chapter 212 - Chapter 211: From now on, I'll be in charge of hell. Who agrees, who opposes?

On the other side of hell, Dane's lantern ring was connected to three thick chains, dragging the distant Demons before him.

Asmodon was furious. Before he even landed, his fist was already in front of Dane's face.

Would Dane indulge him?

He tugged on the chains, causing Asmodon to lose his balance, then punched him in the face.

The air rippled with a shockwave, and Asmodon flew backward. However, Dane's feet rooted to the ground like two old trees, digging deep into the Earth.

He pulled his arm back, dragging Asmodon back to continue punching him, ignoring the other two Demons.

Have you ever played with a boxing reflex ball?

It's that small ball worn on the head, tied with a spring rope. Asmodon was playing that role now.

Don't assume Asmodon is strong just because he can exchange blows with Superman. In reality, he isn't that strong, plus the Demon Lords had already mortgaged half of their magic during Shabak's ritual.

So they basically chose to fight with their inherent strength and tried to use magic as little as possible.

Asmodon could fight Superman back and forth for a few reasons: first, his basic abilities were indeed not weak; he had thick skin and flesh, as if born with armor.

Second, his self-healing ability was extremely strong, even stronger than Wolverine's recovery, healing any injury in the blink of an eye.

Third, his attacks came with magical true damage, which had a huge effect on Clark.

Because of this, he was among the first tier in hell. There was no problem in considering him the hell version of Superman.

But Dane was someone who could directly confront the First of the Fallen. How could he take these clearly lower-tier individuals seriously?

After fighting for a long time, Dane felt his hands were getting sore, and Asmodon was no longer as enraged as he was at first, having learned to be "calm."

Aini and Berial were quiet as mice, staying silent on the side.

Aini's individual combat strength wasn't great; all his abilities were focused on his legion. But while he himself had returned, his entire legion remained in the human world.

He had tried to summon his legion, but this place seemed to be confined; he couldn't sense the legion's existence at all, let alone summon them to his side, so he chose to be pragmatic.

Berial's thoughts were similar to Aini's. His abilities were on par with Asmodon's, and he had just fought his son, so he was severely wounded at this time. How could he possibly anger Shazam?

Moreover, they hadn't forgotten that the strongest among them, "Satan," had said he would hold Shazam back.

But now the fact was that Shazam was alive and well before him, while that guy "Satan" was nowhere to be found.

This thought alone made one feel a chill.

"Alright, now I believe we should be able to talk calmly."

After fighting for a long time, Dane stretched his wrist and dragged Asmodon, who had been beaten like a dead dog, back.

"What do you want?" Aini asked bluntly.

Although Shazam's strength was much greater than they had imagined, it believed that killing the three of them would not be an easy task for him.

Besides, it hadn't seen any intention from him to kill them.

"Before we officially start talking, I have something to show you."

As he spoke, Dane spread his palm, and an ancient-looking key appeared in his hand.

The moment it appeared, intense greed erupted in the eyes of the three Demons—it was the Key to Hell!

You can tell how difficult it is to open a passage between Hell and the Real World by how long they've been trying without success.

But with the Key to Hell, they could freely open passages between the two Worlds, coming and going as they pleased.

When Lucifer was in Hell, he often used the Key to travel between the two Worlds, which made the other Demon Lords extremely envious.

He never expected this Key to fall into the hands of a human!

No, he couldn't really be considered truly human... "I believe you all know what this is, so I won't need to introduce it further."

Dane toyed with the Key to Hell between his fingers, and the three Demons watched, eyes wide, as the Key swayed at his fingertips, their faces expressing an indescribable longing.

Dane smiled, "I'll just be direct. The Key to Hell is in my hand, and I want to be the Satan of Hell..."

"That's impossible!" Before Dane could finish, the three Demons spoke simultaneously.

"Don't be so absolute, I haven't finished yet."

The lantern ring on Dane's hand flashed, and a muzzle appeared on the mouths of all three Demons, preventing them from speaking.

"Although I want to be Satan, I don't want to be confined to Hell, facing a bunch of grotesque guys every day, so I need agents to help me govern Hell."

"I see that Hell is still at war, with Lords vying for power and territory. This is good, Hell is very vibrant..."

The eyelids of the three Demons twitched simultaneously, but with their mouths muzzled, they couldn't retort.

Then Dane's tone shifted: "However, I heard that some Demon Lords are starting to set their sights on the human realm, trying to sneak into the human World through some unorthodox methods? This is not good."

At this point, Dane looked pointedly at the three Demons, implying that they were the kind of unruly Demons.

The three Demons looked at each other, not feeling embarrassed; every Demon with a bit of ability wanted to go to the human realm to enjoy Grade A souls.

Now, judging by what this one means... he wants to establish rules in Hell?

Could it be that he wants to completely prohibit the passage between Hell and the Real World?

Dane did indeed have such an idea. In fact, Hell should be a one-way passage like Heaven; souls from the Real World can enter, but souls from Hell cannot leave.

The original rules were also like this, but the spread of black magic changed this rule, or more accurately, discovered a loophole in this rule.

That is, when someone in the Real World (usually Black Wizards and other black magic users) uses a ritual to summon a Demon, the creatures of Hell can sneak into the human realm through summoning magic.

It's said that a Demon killing its summoner is nothing, but most of the time, Demons cause other additional casualties.

And those most often affected are the devout believers in God, who would have automatically ascended to Heaven if they had just waited for natural Death.

Who knew their souls would be taken by a Demon halfway, enduring another period of inhuman torment until they went mad and became the Demon's food.

Dane was willing to intervene in such situations if he had the ability; after all, he still had the identity of God of Death, and theoretically, all souls were under his jurisdiction before their final destiny was decided.

Asmodon tore off the muzzle from his mouth and said to him directly:

"~It's impossible for you to become the Lord of Hell. Those Demons and Demon Lords will never obey you!"

This was mainly because no one in Hell knew who Shazam was; Dane lacked sufficient prestige.

As for Shazam not being a Demon, that minor detail wasn't important. Lucifer, strictly speaking, wasn't a Demon either.

Although he fell from Heaven, he was still essentially an Angel, and God could not strip him of this essence.

Dane, however, shook his head, "I don't need all Demons to acknowledge me; I only need the three most crucial Demons to acknowledge me."

At his words, the three Demons instantly realized. Berial said in a deep voice, "The Trinity."

Dane smiled and nodded. As long as the "Satan" of the Trinity acknowledged his ownership of Hell, it didn't matter whether the remaining Demons acknowledged it or not; the authority of Hell would ultimately remain in his hands.

But in this way, "Satan" would become Dane's puppet entirely, and "Satan" would be demoted from the true Lord of Hell to the King's Prime Minister, a difference that was not insignificant.

"I disagree!" Asmodon's hard bones grew back. He would rather die than submit to a mortal.

"Is that so..." Dane nodded, "What a pity."

With that, Dane flicked his hand, and a black barb extended from his arm guard, piercing Asmodon's heart at an incredibly fast speed.

"What a pity, I quite liked straightforward guys like you..."

Dane's smile was gentle, but in Asmodon's incredulous eyes, it was like that of a true Demon.

"You..."

Even Asmodon with his full power could not resist the highest Death power, let alone this half-crippled Demon now?

It should be known that Dane was also the God of Death, a master at manipulating souls. The moment Asmodon died, he snatched its soul, leaving it no chance of resurrection.

In front of Berial and Aini, Dane extracted Asmodon's soul from its body, kneaded it into a ball, and then put it into his mouth.

He chewed a couple of times and swallowed it whole. Afterward, he smacked his lips and then looked at the remaining two Demons.

Aini immediately raised his hand, "I agree to you becoming the Lord of Hell!"

Berial sneered at him, then also raised his hand, "I agree too."
