On the other side, Dane, unaware that his fear aura had already scared people unconscious, tilted his head, puzzled: "What's going on?"
But they didn't look like they were already dead, so Dane simply sprinkled some dream power on them, allowing them to sleep a little more soundly.
When they woke up tomorrow morning, they would find that Kahndaq was already free.
Of course, it was freed under the wise leadership of Boss Dane.
Then he picked up the notes Ismail had dropped; this villain Boss, who was torn in half upon his debut in "Black Adam," caused him no trouble at all, being instantly killed.
Ultimately, all he could rely on was King Acton's bloodline and the business empire built on exploiting the citizens of Kahndaq.
And he himself was just a very fragile Earthling, with no chance of turning the tables against Dane.
The book in Dane's hand recorded the beginning and end of King Acton's covenant with the Demon thousands of years ago.
As the God of Death, Dane did not possess the ability to understand all human languages like Shazam, but when he transformed back into a human, he often studied the Magical knowledge of the Shazam lineage.
And he had achieved some success.
So, using a simple ritual magic, he easily summoned the "Spirit of Solomon," which is Shazam's standard artificial intelligence of Solomon's wisdom.
As mentioned before, it was very fond of Dane.
Then he had it translate the contents of the book for him on the spot.
It turned out that during King Acton's reign, as a King, he was moved by the brevity of life and the impermanence of the World. Looking at Kahndaq flourishing under his hand, Acton conceived an idea.
An idea that any emperor had ever had: he hoped to gain immortality.
But the Gods would not allow such a tyrant as him to be immortal, so Acton could not obtain the power of immortality from the Gods.
But King Acton was a pragmatist; since the Gods could not fulfill his wish, under the temptation of a dark Magician, he began to come into contact with Demon culture and became deeply fascinated by it.
Acton often used an inverted pentagram as his symbol thereafter, which was also the symbol of the Lords of Hell.
He was even so obsessed that he branded this symbol onto his body, hoping to get closer to the Demon, closer to Hell.
Kahndaq also entered a period of dark rule from that time, and King Acton began to forge the eternal metal crown according to the instructions of the Demon Lords.
Six Demons from Hell promised him that as long as he could wear the crown, he would gain their power and become a new Lord of Hell.
But how could the favor of a Demon be so easily obtained?
King Acton naturally had to pay some price, and one of them was that as the new Lord of Hell, he must offer this World to them.
This meant he would become the vanguard of Hell, turning over all the slaughtered and collected souls to the six Demons.
Paying only a portion of power, but gaining the souls of the entire World, this investment was actually very cost-effective.
Especially when the Demons of Hell could not set foot in the present World.
This kind of contract was essentially copying the "Shazam Force."
But King Acton's research into the mysterious was not limited to this; in order to understand what "Shabak" and "Shazam Force" truly were, he conducted a great deal of research.
During his reign, Kahndaq was always frequented by many Magicians, and Acton learned a lot of knowledge from those Magicians, which he recorded in this notebook.
Through this notebook, Dane was able to glimpse more secrets about Gods and Demons.
The modern Magical Realm generally believes that Gods and Demons, due to their special forms of existence, cannot truly descend to the human realm.
So they can only find ways to create "demigods" or "half-demons" to preserve their power in the present World in this way.
But in the distant ancient times, humans, Gods, and Demons could coexist.
This matter involves some fundamental questions about the nature of Gods and Demons.
Demons are complex in composition, including fallen Angels, Demon Gods from other dimensions, and even monsters that grew strong by devouring other souls in Hell from sinful human souls.
These life forms are collectively referred to as "Demons" in Hell, but if you were to delve into specifics, everyone might have their own origins.
And after countless years of bloodline intermingling, the Demon bloodlines in Hell are even more complex now, with all sorts of messy things in their DNA.
This also leads to most Demons looking messy; those that resemble humans are already considered to have relatively pure bloodlines.
Demons feed on souls; theoretically, the souls of any creature can suffice.
But most Demons still prefer the taste of human souls, which are said to be irresistible... As for Gods, Dane learned from Morpheus that the origin of Gods is actually the manifestation of human imagination in dreams.
And in the earliest stages of life's birth, the power of magic allowed the Gods in dreams to have the ability to descend into the human World.
At that time, Dane questioned, if humans came first, then Gods, how could creationism be explained?
And Morpheus analyzed the reasons for him.
Human imagination of time also manifested a God of Time, but this God did not appear in the present when humans imagined Him, but existed in the past when everything began.
Dane immediately understood the causal relationship.
What is "time"?
Many people think time is a definite thing, but it is not.
It is merely a physical quantity created by humans, used to conveniently record the process of material movement or the changes of things.
Objectively, time does not exist; it is merely a standard set by humans, an artificial concept.
However, in life, humans cannot depart from this concept's guidance for production and life, and thus the imagination of a God of Time generates immense Telekinesis (thought power).
However, once the concept of "time" was created, it had three forms: past, present, and future.
No matter which point in time is taken as the original coordinate, time always interweaves through the past and future, so time certainly cannot exist only in the present; it should have started much earlier.
And this time traces back to the beginning of creation.
Thus, at some point in the future, humans imagined the existence of a God of Time, and at the beginning of creation, the God of Time was born.
After He was born, He understood His mission and also understood that He was born from future humans.
So, in order to ensure that His birth could become a closed loop, a given fact, He would do His best to ensure the birth of humankind.
The God of Time exists in the past and future, so He clearly knows which God will create humans in the future, and He will first ensure the birth of that God.
Morpheus once thought the Endless Family were the supreme masters of all things because they didn't need human worship, but after Dane's enlightenment, he understood.
"There have never been any Gods, any supreme beings; we are all puppets of humanity, public servants of humanity; we serve for the continuation of humanity."
Dane had seen similar words in comics before, but he didn't quite understand them at the time.
However, when he himself truly grasped the power of a God, he began to understand this meaning.
"Humanity" here should not be narrowly understood as Earthlings, but should be extended to all non-God beings in countless multiverses.
This is the fundamental reason why Gods are bound by rules; they are born from human dreams, so they naturally must serve humanity.
When Loki triggered Ragnarok, causing chaos across all pantheons, his essence was still to seek a way to break free from this human control.
But they failed. If they didn't want to accept the constraints of rules, then they couldn't remain in the human World.
As human self-awareness awakened and their understanding of the World deepened, more and more people began to question the essence of Gods.
This severely impacted the divinity of Gods, making them increasingly weak.
Even the power of magic began to wane. It should be known that at the beginning of the World, magic possessed the same quality as divine power, even surpassing it.
But it was also gradually weakened, and eventually, the helpless Gods had no choice but to open up a new World and transfer their divine realm to that World—that is the origin of the fourth dimension.
Dane closed the notebook. This notebook greatly supplemented his understanding of the mystical side and was an invaluable research material.
However, those overly grand things had little to do with the current Dane; he still had to focus on the present.
First, could he utilize that Demon contract to do something about the remaining Demons on the Rock of Eternity?
He wanted to inherit Hell in the future, and he would need a justifiable identity.
Shazam and the God of Death were too orthodox and not quite suitable, but if he had a Demon body, the situation would be different.
Dane stroked his chin and thought carefully; he wasn't sure if he could defeat five Demons working together.
But to be safe, perhaps it would be more appropriate to kill them one by one.
So the most important question now is, how to lure those Demon Lords out individually to kill them?
This is a problem...
