Ever since the dinner ended, I had been pacing around the living room. I wandered outside the mansion, restless. I could not stop thinking about Zoe's words, and they pushed my anger to its limits.
"What the fuck does she think of herself?" I muttered. "How dare she call Iris the Luna Queen?"
It felt like she was telling everyone that that she only acknowledged Iris as the Lunar Queen. What about me?
I grunted under my breath and continued pacing. It was supposed to be a happy night for me.
After tonight, Kash would be crowned, and then we would go on our honeymoon. Once we returned, he would kick Iris out of the pack. But Zoe had to ruin it for me.
The fact that Zoe and Iris had never liked each other, yet supported each other today, made me realize I needed to do something quickly.
"But why?" my wolf questioned.
"What do you mean, why?" I argued back. "I cannot let them stand together like that. You saw how Zoe spoke just to provoke me."
