Luca:
I guess my constant flirting made Iris a little uncomfortable. She gave me a weak, awkward smile before pointing toward the inside of the mansion, likely referring to wanting to go and check on their children.
As she stepped away, I could not help but stare at her for too long. Kash did not need her.
He already had someone in his life. What bothered me the most was why Iris could not see it. Why could she not be stubborn enough to demand rejection?
Why was she dragging it out so much? I guess I would never understand. To be honest, it irked me.
While I was busy thinking about Iris, someone else stepped outside, as if she also needed a moment to breathe in peace. Lara's eyes landed on me, and she instantly straightened her posture.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, forcing a smile.
She could not fool me. I knew she was bothered by watching Kash and Iris together, especially by the fact that Kash was holding lunches and dinners for her family.
