Kash:
"When she came to you, why did you not ask her more questions?" my wolf pressed me, sounding upset with me for not having a meaningful conversation with her.
"Do you think she was ready to have a conversation? She told me straight up what she wanted and why she wanted the rejection," I replied to my wolf, grabbing my bags and moving toward the exit.
I was finally going to find out about the water. This was going to be a huge deal for me.
The sad part was that even if I brought the cure for my son, I still needed to make sure it would work.
If it did, everything would change.
"Really? You think so? Do you think you will be able to cancel the wedding?" my wolf pushed, and I stopped for a few seconds.
I was outside now, standing next to my car.
I heard Iris was coming with her entire family, like it was a picnic.
I did not understand what was wrong with her. Why did she have to bring Luca and her mother everywhere?
But then again, I had no say in it anymore.
